Definition Of Authoritarianism

Many Singaporean sheep still think we are a democracy because of voting system. But they are wrong, they need to be educated that
Singapore is Authoritarianism.

After watching some videos, it is quite conclusive. There are many things we see in Singapore.

1. Limited freedom of expression – you can’t do a one man protest, the only place you can go is Hong Lim Park where you still have to submit a request for approval to protest?!

2. Placing trusted lieutenants in critical positions and most do not have the necessary skills or knowledge but absolute loyalty is key. We have seen the likes of personal lawyer, party man and paper generals.

3. Suppression of opponents and free press – most have gone into self exile or bankrupted.

4. Looking like a pyramid – The top man with his team are making astronomical sum of money.

5. They make decisions and decide everything for citizens – Fake surveys and committees but still do the same.

6. They have unlimited power to do whatever they want – Changes constitution, policies and law as they like.

I think people should watch and read more online to understand the real environment we are in. Here are some videos for the sheep:-

Fully Agree! Drastic Change is what we desperately need and the first thing to do is to get rid of the husband and wife just like Najib and Rosmah in order to find out where the hundredsof millions went to…Time to Drain the Swamp to get rid of the alligators and crocodiles and the “Blood Sucking” Mosquitoes and clear the forest of the braying wolves and black spotted hyena!

Every pappy supporter will ignore everything except their own welfare.

The problem will be evident when it is too late to fix – when pappies run away and there is no money in the bank for these supporter fools.

Then no money no job no career no skills – these are the talents of the pappy supporters. Only need to say yes and pass the message.

After pappies are gone – remember – ownself survive ownself.
If cannot – then ownself starve ownself.

Singapore is like China, a dictatorship.

    The emperor decides everything.

    All others are just eunuchs.

He will try to hang on and later his son assumed the throne.

AUTHORITARIANISM IN A COMPLEX TURBULENT WORLD IS VERY DANGEROUS – flawed policies with severe enduring, maybe subsequently irretrievable damaging consequences have not been thoroughly thought through and debated on the parliamentary and public debating floors. Destruction policies thus implemented were allowed to fester and metatasize to self-destructive consequences.

Just look at the asset enhancement politics scam’s now unravelled damages. Old flats cannot be monetized, the 2-rm, 30 yr lease SEXY in BTOs launchings turned up STAGGERING WHITE ELEPHANTS, leaving PAPpys unable to collect even its illegal capital gain tax called HDB resale levy, risks of price ceiling collapsing in the public housing market with risks of similar cannibalising collapse of the private housing market floor prices, banks strapped with housing loans in resale property market finding no liquidity even in forced mortgage sales, family financial balance sheet totally decimated of those who bought into property market when they are financially unaffordable (except for the CPF prop up from below) and WORST STILL, RETIREES CPF ENCAPSULATED IN DIMINISHED HOME VALUES, AND THE COUNTRY FEARING A SUDDEN DEATH COLLAPSE under the rubble and hostage of a collapsed sub-prime real estate sector.

It is a nightmare for this generation and next of how to recover from a GFC-like clash looming on the horizon.

Little peasants like Roy Ngerngy and Han Hui Hui are dead on correct but oppressed into voice extinction. The biggest losers are Singaporeans and some PRs speculating in property rising the tail end of property gamble found on flimsy foundation of no affordability funded out of CPF prop of this asset enhancement scam spruiked by vote-greedy politicians that is impossible of sustainability.

AFTER 53 YEARS, AUTHORITARIANISM HAS RUN ITS COURSE. IT FAILED SPECTACULARLY. And PAPpys 4Gs appear to be split right at the apex – one worshipping even more dictatorship one party rule and another in contrast of opposite direction wants to talk cawked with peasants about “love-making” with humility and respect for divergent views.

Meanwhile the world saw the political caning of Dr Thum with utter disbelief of what stupid message that sends to the rest of the world of LEE-jiapore.

  • Why PAP still rules?:

“The one place that Malaysia’s constitutional lawyers never look to is to Singapore. Singapore does not have a constitution. It does not have a constitutional court. It does not have constitutional judges. It does not have lawyers. So I cannot make this speech in Singapore. So whenever we criticize Malaysia, we must remember that it is a 100 times better than kiasu-land.” – Tommy Thomas, Malaysia’s AG

    https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2018/06/05/mca-appointment-tommy-thomas-as-ag/

    Meanwhile in Singapore…

Singapore has strict limits on speech and unauthorized public assembly, even for political gatherings that are small and peaceful.

    https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/11/29/world/asia/singapore-arrest-protests-gatherings.html

To justify the state’s control of the physical and mental lives of their subjects, both the British and the PAP relied chiefly upon the three central myths of vulnerability, development, and meritocracy.

    Vulnerability

Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) has military capability far beyond Singapore’s small size. Analysts have called it ‘the militarily most proficient, even powerful, in the regions while noting that neighbours Malaysia and Indonesia perceive the SAF as a threat, not as a deterrent. In this context, it can only be argued that Singapore is no more or less vulnerable than the rest of Southeast Asia. It may even be the least vulnerable place in Southeast Asia.

    Development

The PAP’s success did not, as popularly assumed, stem from enriching and developing Singapore. Singapore was rich and developed long before the PAP was formed. It argued that before independence, Singapore was a poor country and that the PAP’s great achievement was to make it rich. From the very beginning of his tenure as prime minister, Lee Kuan Yew tried to claim the credit.

    Meritocracy

Power became increasingly concentrated in the hands of a narrow elite. By the 1980s, this has meant increasing homogeneity of thought, values, and experience. The political elite today are overwhelmingly male, ethnic Chinese, upper class, graduated from a narrow range of top schools, and who had served in the military as scholar-officers.
ntry into this elite is largely an accident of birth. …The elite are people born into privilege but who believe they are selected through a meritocratic process. They attribute their achievements to their own hard work and do not think that they owe any debt to society for their position.

This makes it difficult for them to empathise with pressing socio-economic issues, such as high costs of living and healthcare, competition for jobs with foreigners, and the adverse effects of the corporatisation of public services.
