Reported on Straits Times website :Quote – “SINGAPORE – A 60-year-old male Singaporean died on Friday (May 1) from complications due to Covid-19 infection, bringing the total deaths here to 16.

The man was confirmed to have the coronavirus on April 13 and had a history of hypertension and hyperlipidaemia, said the Ministry of Health (MOH).

MOH said that there are 932 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore on Friday, taking the total count to 17,101.

It is the eighth day in a row where the new daily infections fell below 1,000, though Friday’s number is higher than in recent days.

Migrant workers living in dormitories continue to form the bulk of the remaining cases.

MOH announced seven new clusters on Friday, including Joo Koon Lodge and Tuas South Incineration Plant.

The others are 19 Kian Teck Road, 12 Tuas Place, 15 Tuas View Square, 20 Sungei Kadut Avenue and 148 Woodlands Industrial Park E5.”Unquote.

Response : Another died from corona virus. Look at the reporting “eighth day in a row where the new daily infections fell below 1,000″. Why keep on emphasising on the number below 1000? Maybe my guess is that this number as long as below 1000, maybe later used as a criteria judgement to opened up the economy of Singapore. So as long as less than 1000 Corona virus patients, target achieved and that may means it is fine and no problem, open up all businesses to get in more gst…..

Reported on Straits Times(SGnews) :Quote – “President’s ‘So what?’ as 5,000 die sparks fury in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO (AFP) – Rarely have two words ignited such a firestorm of controversy.

“So what?” said Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Tuesday (April 28) when a journalist asked him about the fact that more than 5,000 Brazilians had died of the coronavirus.

The far-right leader’s off-the-cuff comment has been sparking anger ever since, with governors, politicians, healthcare professionals and media figures all weighing in to express their outrage at his lack of empathy.

Bolsonaro is no stranger to controversy. But his latest remark sparked such a fury because Brazil is facing a seemingly uncontrollable outbreak of the disease and is still several weeks away from the peak of the pandemic, with a death toll that threatens to surpass even the most dire predictions.

There have been more than 91,000 officially confirmed cases so far but scientists warn the real figure could be 15 to 20 times higher.

With a death toll that has already topped 6,300, the giant South American country is facing as grim a scenario as Italy or the United States.

“So what? I’m sorry. What do you want me to do?” Bolsonaro said on Tuesday when questioned about his country passing the 5,000-death mark, more than China. He joked that even though his middle name is Messias, or Messiah, “I don’t do miracles.”"Unquote.

Response : Brazil death from corona virus is 5000 Mark and above. Kasisviswanathan Shanmugam still want to open economy? Better beware of India for it is hard to believe those Indians will be doing a proper job of checking corona virus. With 1.3 billion people, India will be very hard hit sooner or later. Stop importing Indians into Singapore. Go and dismantle those S11 Dormitory in Punggol and shift it elsewhere before all Punggol people died from corona virus from those Indians migrants. Go and remove those Indian International school from Punggol too!

Unholy cow, it’s time for you to carry out what you have proclaimed as punishment for failures as for the state of affairs in town councils.

Show your useless colleagues JT, GKY, CCS, OYK how to make a deep bow and then commit harikiri, ok?
