Reported on TOC Website :Quote – “MOH says entry-level nurses earn S$3,300 to S$5,200 monthly after allowances and bonuses…”

Response :When nurses earn such super high pay of S$3,300 to S$5,200 monthly after allowances and bonuses, everybody will be dead paying tens of dollars of hospitalisation pay for just a few days stay plus scan and exclude major surgery! This is what I experience in last year hospitalisation at class C ward. That is why hospital fees are so expensive because the MOH overpaid nurses to ridiculous level. Nurses are earn up to S$5,200? Shame on beast Amy Khor Lean Suan to overpaid nurses to ugly level till everybody cannot afford to go hospital! You heard Internet saying that people refuse treatment at hospital even when sick. So insurance paid? Don’t trust insurance to fully pay for you all the time. There is a lot of exclusion and insurance have become super expensive because hospital overcharges!!! And when TR Emeritus management keep on blocking my posts to protect the evil, one day all the public reserves and CPF gone also nobody knows.

Reported on the new paper website :Quote – “Nanny allegedly poisons two babies, with one hospitalised
    ..
She is accused of giving five-month-old drugs for insomnia and anxiety, and antihistamines to 11-month-old
    Adeline Tan
    Feb 19, 2020

A babysitter is on trial for allegedly poisoning two babies with various drugs, including those used for anxiety disorders, insomnia, and allergies.

Sa’adiah Jamari, 38, faces two counts of administering poison to a five-month-old girl and an 11-month-old girl in 2016. They are not related.

Sa’adiah allegedly gave the younger victim drugs such as alprazolam, commonly used for anxiety disorders, and zolpidem, used for sleeping problems, over November and December 2016.

The older victim was allegedly fed drugs like chlorphenamine, an antihistamine.

Yesterday, at the start of the trial, the court heard that Sa’adiah, a registered nurse, was working freelance and had advertised her babysitting services online.

The mother of the five-month-old testified yesterday that Sa’adiah contacted her after she posted on Facebook about urgently needing a babysitter for her baby and five-year-old girl.

The mother, 29, who cannot be named to protect the victim’s identity, said Sa’adiah started taking care of her daughters in November 2016.

She provided milk, clothes, and diapers and dropped her daughters off in the morning and picked them up in the evening.

She noticed a pattern of her younger daughter being sleepy and unable to focus when going home. She told District Judge John Ng: “Her eyes would be a bit swollen… her eyelids drooping down.”

The baby also threw her milk bottle aside while being fed.

After a few sessions at Sa’adiah’s home, the mother took her baby to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where a blood test showed nothing wrong.

    INSTINCTS
Visibly emotional, she testified: “I was upset… It was my instincts against a medical examination… My observations and gut instincts were not being acknowledged.”

Still, she continued leaving her daughters with Sa’adiah as she had no evidence her baby was being harmed and she had no one else to care for them.

On Dec 9, 2016, she picked the baby up in the evening and again noticed she was drowsy, with swollen eyelids that could barely open.
    ….

Response :This case of a nanny poison two different babies already happened in year 2016. Now is year 2020 so long already and yet the court haven’t metered a sentence yet??? And why is that culprit woman Sa’adiah Jamari, 38,who did poisoning two babies and her photo never show out?
Registered nurse some more? Poisoning two babies and this woman cannot be caned, why? And why is the victim baby mother cannot be named? This baby grow up will not remember anything 100 %. So have fair justice and name/photo out all woman crimes be they victim or criminal?

Source from Straits Times website :Quote – “SINGAPORE – Singapore residents can collect improved reusable masks from next Tuesday (May 26), in a third mask distribution exercise that will span three weeks.

The latest distribution of new masks – which are more comfortable to wear and have better filtration qualities – will take place until June 14. The previous two rounds lasted about a week each.

Collection counters will be set up at 109 community clubs (CCs) and 661 residents’ committee centres (RCs) across Singapore.

This time, residents can also pick them up from 24-hour vending machines. Some 400 machines will be placed at all CCs for those unable to pick up their free masks from the collection counters.

Residents with a valid identification card can collect one reusable mask each. This includes foreign domestic workers, foreign workers not living in dormitories and international students living in hostels. The Manpower Ministry will distribute masks to foreign workers living in dormitories.

Residents who want to pick up their masks from the CCs or RCs can only do so from 10pm to 6am daily during the first week of the collection period, from next Tuesday to June 1.

Those whowant to collect their masks from vending machines can do so any time during the three-week period.”Unquote.

Response :” Residents who want to pick up their masks from the CCs or RCs can only do so from 10pm to 6am daily during the first week of the collection period, from next Tuesday to June 1.”??? Did Straits Times report fake news or those shameless beast women from CC or RCs on the wrong ball to work from 10 pm to 6am? So expect resident to come in the middle of the night to collect re-useable mask? Maybe LHL paid them overtime pay? No?

To spend tons of public funds to build such vending machine to distribute out mask is really a waste of public funds from the government !!! Such mask distribution can easily be distributed through mailing by post or self collection at CC or RCs. Why employ those beast woman paying them high pay in CCs or RCs for if still need vending machine to distribute mask?

    Ehhh TRE editor,

SG’s nurses day is 1st Aug, not in May unlike the rest of the world.

Don’t worry for govt healthcare staff in Singapore — there will be announcement of big bonuses & across- the-board large salary adjustments this coming July & Aug.

Govt has been jacking up nursing pay in the last 6 years to attract sinkies. Up to half of nursing students in Polys & NUS are still being headhunted from China.

Today, current fresh diploma nurse starting pay is $2.8k basic, $3.5k with 3-shift allowances. For fresh degree nurse, add $1k more. This is for govt hospitals & polyclinics.

But nurse pay in some community hospitals and all nursing homes are still damn fucked up. And you get what you pay for…

Govt will up nurses (those in govt organisations) pay again in July to commemorate their covid-19 contribution.

I’m from the healthcare sector … and I can tell you that PRC fresh poly nursing grads from Nanyang Poly & Ngee Ann Poly are hitting $3.3K-$3.5K salaries within 6 months of working in GOVT HOSPITALS. (I admit that those in nursing homes & community hospitals are still getting Shit Pay)

The Jinx is basically correct. Yah I know, hard to believe for most Sinkies. But you need to be in govt hospitals to know the truth.

That Sinkie(?) nurse who complained on Facebook (foolish!! you never want to criticise PAP on FB!) about fresh nursing salary versus temp covid swabbers is 10 years outdated.

PS: The Polys & MOH go to China’s main cities every year to recruit young fresh cheenas for nursing in S’pore. They especially target medical students in China 2nd-tier Unis. IMAGINE!!! GETTING MEDICAL STUDENTS TO GIVE UP THEIR MEDICAL CAREERS TO BECOME NURSES IN S’PORE!!! AND MANY DO TAKE UP THE OFFER!!! I had 2 PRC colleagues who used to be either 1st year or 2nd year medical students in China (both are now new citizens).

Sorry bro, but I have had many experiences with PRC nurses @NUH & TTSH…I find them very dedicated to their work…I once had an injection of fluid to determine an X-ray…my hand where the needle pricked SWELL and I called for the local nurse to address the SWELL…she came and look and said it will subside after a while and walk away…after a while, it was still swollen and I ask a PRC nurse walking by and she patiently sat down and massage my swell till it subsides…on many occasions when I was attended to by PRC nurses they are always polite and willing to help and I am not saying others DON”T it is just that…PRC nurses are more than ok lah!!!

No where in both my comments above did I say that PRC nurses are bad. I had PRC good friends in my NYP diploma course, and I have PRC colleagues AND BOSSES (Ward Managers & Deputy Directors of Nursing) for the past 5 years.

The good ones rise up fast (this is true also whether you’re Sinkie or cheena or ahneh or mat or whatever), and as managers they are getting $8+K to $12+K a month salaries.

So got more of you Sinkies want to join nursing?!?!? Or tell your children or nieces or nephews to go into nursing!?!?!?! Hahaha!!!

My point is that Singapore govt has been rewarding nursing salaries in the past few years to be more in-line with 1st world nursing pay.

Still some way to go, but that’s becoz many HR & hospital mgmt still insist on pay discrepancy between diploma & degree … even though the job scope for diploma or degree staff nurses is the same & the technical/medical training is exactly the same. Degree nursing course just includes some extra modules of so-called management & finance — which are useless as fresh nursing grads & these ward mgmt/ward financing skills are much better to be learnt/mentored on the job.

SINGAPORE – One imported case was among the coronavirus patients announced in Singapore on Tuesday (June 30), said the Ministry of Health (MOH).

The patient, a 44-year-old permanent resident, returned to Singapore from India on June 24.

She was placed on stay-home notice (SHN) upon arrival and had been ferried in a dedicated transport to an SHN facility to start her 14-day isolation. She developed symptoms during SHN, said MOH.

It is the first imported case since June 14, when a Bangladeshi man who came to Singapore to seek medical treatment that was not related to Covid-19 later tested positive for the coronavirus.

The woman was initially counted as a community case on Tuesday afternoon but later reclassified on Tuesday night as an imported one by MOH.

The five community cases reported on Tuesday are two Singaporeans and three work permit holders.

Among the two Singaporean patients, one was detected by the ministry’s proactive surveillance of persons deployed to front-line Covid-19 operations, even though he is asymptomatic… “Unquote.

Response : Maybe as she fake corona virus. If real, do send her back to India.
