Only The Workers Party Survived Pandemic GE 2020

2 NCMP Posts Available

The closest losing alternative party, the Progress Singapore Party (PSP) will have the option of choosing 2 from its 5 candidates in the West Coast GRC team to take up the 2 NCMP vacancies available in Parliament. Dr Tan Cheng Bock has indicated that he will not take up a NCMP appointment, so its anyone’s guess as to who PSP will be sending to Parliament for the 2 NCMP posts.

In the unlikely event that the PSP’s West Coast GRC team declines to take up the 2 NCMP appointments, then the option may go to the team from WP, helmed by Nicole Seah.

I’m disappointed that Dr Tan did not win but heartened that he got almost half the votes. I’m sure he will be working hard in West Coast come the next GE.

And congratulations to WP for winning another GRC! Still the only opposition party to win GRCs, may this propel them forward and win more in future GEs!

And PAP’s vote share dropped 9% so goondu Loong said he has a clear mandate not a strong mandate. To hell with his strong mandate, he is lucky he didn’t lose both East and West Coast GRCs this time!

And stroke man Heng is really embarrassed by his small winning percentage ah ha ha ha ha ha! Seems like East Coast voters aren’t concerned with him being the next PM leh! HA HA HA HA!

West Coast and East Coast voters, we are counting on you guys again in the next GE ah!

Whatever, still feel the playing field uneven.

    KELONG right from start.

As for NCMP ,me thinks good to send.
    Maybe Hazel?
    And another.

On the other hand, why waste time?
Our good oppo sgs deserve better, deserve the real deal.

I say REMOVE GRC,it is disgraceful practice even Third world countries avoid.

  • Probably a case of flight to safety as the oppose were not given sufficient time to introduce themselves to the voters with the limited airtime and banning of rallies.

Had it been under a more normal condition, they would probably perform better than just 39% of vote share.

  • Harder Truths:

The CoVID voting system was not to contain the virus- its purpose was for the clowns to find out exactly where the ‘troublemakers’ live by breaking down the voting into small neighbourhoods.

There will be no more elections that will be called free or fair. Before the unfilial one departs he will make sure there will be no way for anyone to break the dynasty.

I know the people who voted them in (Les Miserables) will rejoice and also fully partake of future miseries from the government they deserve to have. I am fine with that.

THE HIGHEST SCORING GRCs hid some odd-balls much discredited in the social media – the pandemic GE reveals a lot of desperation fear almost begging for food/survival sustenance from PAPpypolitics purse called national reserves which voters saw splurging even on foreigners. Flubbing East Coast Heng GRC scored only 53% and cotton from sheep GRC a few percentage higher. And sex-in-a-tight-spot GRC scored much much better than both.

And yes, crisis saved PAPpypolitics yet again.

SDP came close but not quite there. Dr Chee couldn’t enter the chamber – must be a lot of desperate poor looking for more survival handout. Butt-talking voters’ immediate hunger needs override politics of truth and all else logical of choice.

The message voters sent to Dr Chee, Lim Tean and KJ is – EACH MAN FOR HIMSELF and for today – not withstanding what each of you can deliver of future salvation of motherland.

SengKang GRC STUNNING earthquake on the first outing call to battle and sterling performance in Aljunied GRC are a butt-smashing kick in the a*se for legacy history record instead of a strong mandate asked for.

The only mandate I see is a “discrepit” mandate of odd-balls scoring, a sea of peasants’ poverty-driven desperate begging, angry electorates in ordinary circumstances (without a pandemic) ever ready to topple PAPpypolitic/PAPpynomic’s apple cart and a surging Workers Party.

Hougang SMC is Workers’ Party FORTRESS INVINCIBLE to infinity – PAPpypolitic’s cancer edema.

PAPpypolitic’s fortress is disintegrating. Its edifice has been called out as fake – IMHO.

Overall, I think like Keeqiu said, the Covid-19 saved the party. Had it not been for the Covid-19 forcing the $100b approx, more votes would be lost along with a 2 more GRCs and maybe 1 or 2 SMCs.

Anyway, with GE done with, let’s hope the party would now concentrate on getting the Covid-19 under control. Most countries in the world are already working on defending itself against the 2nd wave and Sinkapore, like the USA is still stuck in the 1st wave.

Hopefully, Sinkapore would not go down the path of the USA on Covid-19 since both Trump and the LEEder seems to have the same mindset. The city is too small to survive an outbreak like whats happening in the US.

BTW, medically experts have proven that one cannot be cured of Covid-19 completely. There will be side-effects like brain and lung damage for life. Really pity the FTs who kenna because of sexpert’s non-performance. Not forgetting fellow Sinkies who kenna because some joker of a LEEder were more interested in GE than tackling the Covid-19.

With 2 million or so voters trawling the streets and taking public transport on Friday, I am concerned that there may be an outbreak of the Covid-19 in the coming week.

Comparing what’s happening around the world currently, the possibility of an outbreak of the USA’s magnitude in Sinkapore is so very very real.

    Seem the best outcome..
PAP has the mandate but with less vote..need to be more accountable to the people.
WP is the surprise winner…hope they will justify the trust put on them.
Hope the real problem will now be address by the MPs such as Covid -19 crisis, loss of decent jobs for the locals and companies closing, zero HDB value at the end of the lease, and the cash poor situation of our Seniors who could not retire with dignity.Poor social net for the poor and needy…

we went to the poll yesterday.

    two names on ballot paper.

    pap and Goh Meng Seng.

we marked Goh Meng Seng although he was completely no sound no fury as far as we could tell.

    what is our point?

other than WP, PSP and SDP, all the other OPPO folks should disband and unite with either WP, PSP, SDP for the sake of all Singaporeans.

look at WP and how it won.

look at PSP and see how well it has done despite all the fixing by pap.

look at SDP. Dr Chee and brothers and sisters took over 40%+ from lying pap.

Goh Meng Seng got our votes. no choice for us since we never vote pap. Why doesn’t Goh Meng Seng and the others wake up and join WP, PSP, SDP for a surer way to put pap lying S$m thieves in jail?

  • Soccerbetting2:

WP now has 10 seats in Parliament. So left 2 NCMP seats available. Tan Cheng Bock previously announced that he will not join as an NCMP before GE. Now the situation after GE is different. Tan Cheng Bock before FE has not lost the election, but now the situation is he has gathered enough votes at 48% to qualify for an NCMP seat. It does not sound right for a person like Tan Cheng Bock that wants to speak up for the people, but failed to take up the NCMP seat when he has the opportunity to speak up for the people. Everybody knows Tan Cheng Bock is super rich and obviously do not care about the NCMP pay. However it is not about NCMP pay for him, it is his character to speak up for citizens. If Tan Cheng Bock don’t go in and his party member don’t want, then the NCMP seats will go to WP which already has 10 members already. So Tan Cheng Bock should be flexible to take up the NCMP seat.

I think I had already say previously that Tan Cheng Bock may not win without LHY previously or something like that. So had Tan Cheng Bock able to get LHY to contest with him in West Coast as a candidate, it may be another story. To get another 3 more percent to be 51% will not be too difficult had LHY contested too in West Coast . Do Tan CB, don’t make another mistake again, take up NCMP for you are not going for the NCMP pay, you are going in to Parliament to be the voice of the citizen there. Else, five years later next GE, your PSP may even get worse percentage.

This is just the beginning of another 5 years to wipe out the opposition and locals into the garbage bin.

I sincerely believe the agenda of this evil regime is to replace all $G locals with foreigners, making us pariahs only fit for menial jobs or the army so we can die for the FT.

Look out for Social Credit Scores, Digital Currency, implanted chips and all kinds of new ways to keep you ‘safe’. Welcome to 1984 in 2020.

  • Paul Tambiah for Covid TF:

Now is the time for PAP to prove its call for unity, SG United and all. It no longer sideline Singaporeans outside the party for selfish reasons. Dr Paul Thambiah is a well respected and internationally recognised expert on infectious diseases, and it is almost criminal not to mobilise his expertise in this Covid war. But knowing the PAP DNA, this is unlikely to happen – they always fear that somebody from the opposition camp may steal the limelight. PAP needs to prove that the party puts people’s lives above politics.

  • PAP needs new "playbook":

PAP “fear and cash” strategy for GE2020 was not enough to prevent a significant decline in support for PAP.

LHL might stay on longer as PM to solve the “problem”. This would be a big mistake because he is The problem so he cannot be part of the solution.

The problem with PAP is the people at the top of the party. All are basically civil servants (includes ex-SAF). They suffer from “group think” and are not “risk-takers”.

PAP urgently needs “new and better” people at the top from the “risk-rich” private sector. They can write a new playbook for the party.

LKY’s playbook for running and controlling the country based on fear and censorship the country is obsolete. GE2020 proves it.
