I am dumbstruck by Lianhe Wanbao's report on the unfortunate passing of  Madam Kwa Geok Choo, the wife of MM Lee Kuan Yew. The chinese evening daily had dedicated an entire 8 pages to Madam Kwa and proclaimed her as the "First Lady of Singapore" and "母仪天下", taken to mean literally as the "mother of Singapore". The...
