I read this interesting news about the change of leadership in Australia and the same sentence repeated, “Leave no one behind.” The new Australian leader Anthony Albanese background, from a poor humble teenager rising to leader of Australia. I tend to trust his words more than what Pinky would say every year about leaving no one behind. The reason is if you don’t deliver your promises or treated your citizens poorly, your outcome would be same as Scott Morrison. This is the beauty of true democracy where citizens are really the master, outcome of GE is pending who deliver the promises.
Whether new or old citizen or PR, is this what you are looking for? Work till your last breath? Singapore is a place that you cannot count on CPF to retire and yet you are constantly reminded to top up to pay this and that. And this island after 40s, you are considered old to be in corporate and reminded to be retrain yourself as security captain or hawker. There is no real job for qualified professional after certain age and there is no safety net for all. In addition, we are paying world highest not just for politicians but almost any other
thing.
Coming back to leave no one behind. Now the MSM seems to be promoting that Singaporeans should continue to work till 90s, showing so many articles about 80 plus to 95 year old woman working and smiling suggesting to Singaporeans to continue to work till advanced age. As you go into any coffee shops, hawker centres and even malls, its a common sight many old and even sickly looking frail are working. As you know there are so many “new shields” in the CPF constantly asking you or your kids to top up, there are many reasons to why old folks in Singapore cannot retire but continue to labour to feed the high cost of living and various kind of CPF schemes. This is the so called leave no one behind story???!!!
So whether you are new or old citizen, you need to think clearly where your votes are going, how this is going to benefit or impact you or your children. Would you agree?

With properties prices so sky high, expect the top earners, everyone is left behind. Now you know why many young ones are not getting married? As well as many are getting divorced.

I intend to work till I die but my perspective of money changes with age.
When young, we earn to build our livelihood, to give ourselves security and peace of mind, to achieve good health etc.
When old, it our mission to give back to God and Society. If we earn and cannot spend the money, we can always look at helping the Needy.
Not necessarily helping in Spore but there are hundreds of millions overseas. We can choose what we want to do with the money.

When lhl & PAP declared that they’ll not leave anyone behind, that ‘eveyone’ is followers of lhl.
So lhl is not lying, just that Singaporeans did not read the fine print & between the lines.
Now at least 30% of the native population are being left behind.
And the worse thing is that there is no plan to help the group.

Two weeks ago my uncle died in Canada. As he did not have children, I called my cousin in Canada to share in the cost of the funeral. I was surprised to be informed that the Canadian govt. pays funeral expenses of C$2500/- on behalf of every Canadian citizen. Canada’s population is about 38 million. The Canadian govt. also pays every citizen who is 65 years and above, a monthly payment of C$500/-. Public transportation is free for the elderly. The PM of Canada is paid C$379,000/- annually. LHL is paid S$2,200,000/- annually. This does not include the performance bonus, the 13th month bonus and all the various “chairs”, he sits on.
What am I getting back as a citizen in Singapore ? None of the above! Public housing is so overpriced that I have to use my retirement fund. Medisave increases every year. The excuse is age. As we are not paying to an insurance company, I cannot ask for rebates as I am a naturopathic and have never used the medisave. Isn’t medisave a duplication payment as medical fees should be covered by the taxes collected by the govt.? Malaysians only pay 10 ringgit to see a doctor at govt. hospitals. They also get medicine. So where exactly are our taxes going to? If a govt. cannot even provide basic medical care for its citizens, there is no need for the PAP to be the government.

PAPY seems to want Singaporeans to work till they die.
Strangely this country does not want retirement or perhaps they cannot retire as there is not enough CPF to cover all kind of shields every year plus they dont have enough to really stay at home.
Singaporeans need to vote this greedy and useless team out and have new players for the country.

one day one of us was in Lexus showroom looking to buy the cheapest Lexus on offer.
sitting at the chair next to us was a pap Lj buying a more expensive Lexus on offer.
we just shake our heads at the way pap is paying each other S$m per annum on an ownself justify ownself basis.
we pay for the cheapest Lexus on our own merit. every S$ we made was on the basis of own effort and sweat and tears.
the pap Lj was paying for the Lexus courtesy of a pap system of rewarding pap clan members S$m per annum regardless of performance.
worse, the S$m per annum isn’t justified since none of them improved the miserable S$3,500 per month median wage of cotton sheep.

Of course the PAP will always come out with some nice slogan so as to give the impression that they are looking after you. Unfortunately for them, more do not trust what they say and looking around you with the hundreds of thousands of non Singaporeans working and prices of food shooting sky high you are more concerned about stretching that dollar of yours.
Goondu Loong won’t ever know the feeling of being poor since he was born into a rich family. Never had to worry about his daily meals when most people could only afford a bit of rice and kiam chye (meat was an occasional thing to be savoured) and had an ah mah or 2 to look after him and his siblings plus family owned a car so how do you expect him to know hardship?
Send him another clear signal in the next election to show him voters are not to be messed with!

Reality is many already left behind.
Not many can retire at 65 with reasonable standard of living.
Reason is many are asset rich but cash poor.
They can’t keep pace with inflation and the high cost of living here.
The Swiss standard of living is a dream for many.

Malaysia has similar scheme but everything simplified and they dont have so many extra shields and keep asking people or their son to top up etc.
So many schemes overlapping and useless, cant help us reduce bills nor increase our fund to retire…. the only aim we can think of is to deplete and entrap our fund.
Do you agree? Why 61% would vote for this to screw themselves? Sometimes wonder if their IQ low or?

“No one left behind” is another lip service, no more than a propaganda slogan when you see many old folks who are in their 70s and older still working, some just making several hundred dollars a month to pay bills and put food on the table. The media would have the people believe that these old folks do it for exercise. Aren’t there other more enjoyable ways to exercise like tai-chi or a walk in the park? With inflation more will be left behind as the low and middle-income struggle to make ends meet. Some may already be thinking of how to afford the new COE when their present one expires. Otherwise, they too will be left behind!
Tech: Post a question to him, ask him how about the unvax and see what he says?
