Before stepping down from Temasek she lost $400 when Temasek invested in the FTX scam. Temasek is the largest single investor in this fraud. Despite doing 8-months of due diligence Temasek did not see the problems/risks. HO Ching ‘s justification that Temasek can afford to be contrarian is ridiculous. FTX did not have a chance of succeeding because it was a fraud. Ho Ching should be held responsible and accountable for her stupidity and incompetence. She made millions annually for over ten years and lost BILLIONS of taxpayers’ money over the same period. She was also Chairman of Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing for twenty years. It failed and was sold to Global Foundrires. NOL, a Temasek company, also failed and had to be sold to CMA CGM, a French shipping company.

Ho Ching was a President Scholar but it did not make difference. She failed big time and cost taxpayers BILIONS but is not held accountable. WHY? THIS IS A COMPELLING REASON FOR REGIME CHANGE.

The head of civil service is Leo Yip. He also holds the position of Permanent Secretary at the PM’S office. He was a police officer. Police officers are also civil servants so the head of civil service can ask for accountability as to the reasons for not prosecuting the six KOM executives.You are right in your statement that it has to do with his boss. It will be nice if all our State organs can operate independently.Now with so many fraud cases, we are falling of the cliff as the judiciary is also quiet.

Private sector is profit-driven. What they can provide can be provided by Government at cost, i.e., no profit therefore cheaper. Top civil servants are already receiving top private pay. They should be given more work to help seniors retire. They should earn what they are paid. If they do not then they should be sacked just like in the private sector.
