We are not Mongols, Tibetans, Thais, Myanmas, Viets, Laos, Khemers, Koreans or any indochinese who hijacked the chinese rabbit zodiac into the year of the cat.
We are Chinese Singaporeans and all things chinese.

Chinese New Year in China is officially 7 days holiday, unofficially it is 15 days holiday and since I am NOT gainfully employed, I am taking 15 days holiday, many relatives, will be drinking here and eating there.
So then hor, will have less time on TRE to cry father cry mother for a while.
We have one lady mod not officially celebrating this new year one, so do please continue to post and make noise, even if I am not around to help out during this period.

Ah… finally CNY is officially over liao, now can get back to having my favourite fish. The Chinese during CNY don’t slaughter fish, so I have been missing fish since the CNY started.
