作者:费言 【这个人花了几十年的时间来消灭华校和华校生,现在却说“如果我能活得更久,我一定会把它给改过来”,看来是以华文为筹码和死神讨价还价而已。】 请别忘了,这个人,当年谈起关闭南大 (Nanyang University) 的决定时,曾经咬牙切齿地说:“如果我有机会,其实更早的时候就想把南大关闭了。。。。” 所以我说过,老李当年因为急于反共,急于把牢牢盘踞在新加坡华校中的左派势力连根拔起,才会心出把新加坡华校彻底关闭的恶毒坏主意。 看来,这似乎是个在不得已情况下,因倒掉肮脏洗澡水而把婴孩倒掉的意外悲剧。 但从另外角度看,一个能因为在政治利益驱使下,而愿意把自己母族语文文化“弃若弊履”丢进垃圾桶的人,他到底又是个什么样的人?所以,我实在觉得,当年因为讲真话批评老李“数典忘祖”而坐了10年牢的李星可,真是个眼光独到,敢讲真话的神人英雄。 如果当年新加坡人认同李星可的判断,有勇气敢于出来和老李的“灭绝文化”政策抗争,今天我们的孩子,应该就不至于成为“被偷走而失去文化的下一代”。 这种文化灭绝的恶劣暴行,如果不是因为中国经济崛起而不得不和令人厌恶的“是不是华语”打交道,这种历史劣迹一般都会不了了之的,要这些人认错甚至道歉,除非太阳从西边升起。 老李这个蒙古大夫,终于承认新加坡的华文,是被自己一手医死的,一代人呀。。。。一代人的语文能力(包括文化内涵)就这样毁在这个“文化暴君”的手里。 虽然,没有如秦始皇“焚书坑儒”那么大的罪过,但是,老李怎么样都欠人民一个交代,欠人民一个道歉,至少他应该像陆克文(Kevin...
