Recent speeches in Parliament

I will share my thoughts about 3 speeches that 3 PAP mps, namely, Lee Bee Wah, Darryl David and Foo Mee Har made in the recent parliamentary sessions.

I like Lee Bee Wah’s call to cut cabbies’ rental by half until the Dorscon level returns to green. Obviously, she has listened, understood, empathised and heeded our cabbies’s cries about their current plight and she was bold to suggest a 50% reduction in their rental. I have similiarly commented recently that any help given to our cabbies must be meaningful and not token or wayang help in order to make any difference. I believe that she was sincere. I like what I have read. I applaud her.

Next, Darryl David. I have been observing his performance as a mp. I am very disappointed to say the least. I will share some of his very unsatisfactory performances.

As one of the 5 mps who made up the former REACH’s Supervisory Panel, he once admitted that he had no idea how public’s feedback were channelled to the various relevant government’s ministries or agencies. Given his big title and appointment, I was flabbergasted that he couldn’t be bothered to understand better about issues relating to the organisation that he was a part of, his appointment and roles. If I were him, I would definitely have done better.

He once admitted too that he hasn’t came across anybody in Singapore telling him that it is due to our high cost of living that is discouraging or stopping young married couples from having more children. On such an obvious issue that even the blind could see and he, being a mp even had the cheek to say that nobody has raised such a concern with him? He obviously must be spending more time splashing his fat mp allowance than spending more time mingling, understanding the concerns, plight, struggles and worries of ordinary Singaporeans!

Lastly, I hold him accountable along with the other 5 useless AMK GRC mps for the loss of public funds by their former town council general manager, Victor Wong. To-date, I have yet to hear or read of any apology from him or any of the other 5 mps for their collective negligence and incompetence over that issue.

Lastly, I suspect that unlike most people who speak because they have something to say, Darryl David spoke because he has to say something in Parliament. To me, Darryl David is an utter disgrace and a waste of time and public funds to have in our Parliament.

Lastly, I applaud Foo Mee Har’s call to bring back estate duty and to have personalised budget statements to better help Singaporeans understand how they can benefit based on their circumstances. I agree too that if estate duties can be more transparent and managed, the downsides could be much mitigated. If it is done well, Singapore will benefit.

Also, in this age of digitalisation, having personalised budget statements that people can better understand and appreciate must definitely help to further bond and win the trust and confidences of our citizens in their government which has been slipping over many years alearly. Think.

Would the Fool Me Ha dare to propose bring back estate duty during those few years before the Old Hack’s & wife’s demise? Don’t Fool Me now.

  • Anyone who applaud LBW ...:

Anyone who applaud LBW cannot be thinking properly, or perhaps has amnesia.

People called you sigugia, you still applaud her?

Anyway, call to cut taxi rental by 50% is just a wayang lah. Taxi rental by NTUC is under a minister. You just watch and see whether this is taken up.

Any MP can talk big in Parliament and call for a $1 million free cash to every Singaporean.

Aiyo! 阿花和阿虾 (Ah Huay and Ah Har) are experienced MP. GE is coming. So they know when to open their golden mouths lah.

As for DD, he’s a greenhorn mah. Bodoh lah. Anyway, parachute into parliament one, quite safe for him even if he says something wrongly as long as he continues to PLP.

Actually, if more oppositions were voted into parliament, we’d be hearing many more issues being brought up during parliament sittings. No need to wait until wayang time for some MIW then we hear them speak.

  • REGIME CHANGE is the solution:

Competition is ALWAYS good, even in politics. That is why Parliament need more opposition MPs. Better till make PAP the minority party by voting for regime change at the coming GE.

  • Think and vote wisely:

    Singapore lacks talents mah!
So PAP has to get any tom dicky and darryl to get into Parliament.
By the way, did Darryl stand in as a minority Indian or Malay?
It cannot be as a Malay as there are so many bright Indians here.
PAP even need an Indian to be Singapore Malay Executive President.
Close your eyes and throw a stone in Raffles Place and you would hit a talented Indian, Ramesh of his ilks.

PS: Big news, Halimah volunteers to forgo 1 month pay! She can well afford to forgo all except 1 month pay and she is still better off, a pay increase from her MP days allowance.
By the way, PAP will patch up the 1 month pay cut with generous bonus and performance bonus!

Foo just says only. When it comes to voting in Parliament, she will toe PAP’s line. Do you think people like LHL, GCT, TCH and their cronies will agree?

  • opposition dude:

Lee Bee Wah is remembered for her wasting of taxpayers’ money to build stupid smoking shelters in Yishun. The fact that these shelters have not been seen all over the island proves its uselessness.

Daryl David is only good for the Pyramid Game, you can’t expect anyone who has been on tv before to know what is happening on the ground anyway. In his time since getting into parliament he isn’t the only one who has mostly stayed quiet.

And as for Foo Mee Har, she can go sell Mee Pok or get F’ed Mee Har. I only emember her wanting to sue someone from spreading some rumour about her a few years ago.

No need for PAP people to suggest this and that, kick as many of them out of parliament and watch the party react with shock.

PAP MPs can snooze in Parliament for all the Clown cares.

They re there just to rubber stamp whatever the Clown and his stooges propose.

MP allowance should be cut to $2 000 a month.

  • Joking or serious?:

“He once admitted too that he hasn’t came across anybody in Singapore telling him that it is due to our high cost of living that is discouraging or stopping young married couples from having more children. I am dumbfounded to hear that Darryl David said the above. Did he really said that? He must be in slumberland, immature, obviously out of touch with the ground. Wondering how many of them are immature like him, out of touch with reality. Time for him to go back to his former light hearted carefree easy going relaxed vocation. He is a joker! Can you entrust such a representative to seriously handle the affairs of the business of life and living?

“Lastly, I applaud Foo Mee Har’s call to bring back estate duty and to have personalised budget statements to better help Singaporeans understand how they can benefit based on their circumstances. Great proposal. Only, propose that estate duty be reinstated from that date/time when it was nullified.

  • PAP IB ARE LOSERS N LOW CLASS:

Sham talked about the importance of trust in the Govt in tackling the coronavirus crisis.

People have lost trust in this deceitful Govt.

How to trust this Govt when it answers a question in Parliament with What’s the point of your question?

How to trust it when it locks up your CPF, appointed an Indian as President, have no REAL
    separation of powers?

    How to trust?
