So exactly how many have been tested?

On 27 April, the Singapore government claimed to have tested 21,000 migrant workers in the dormitories.

On 12 May, the Singapore government originally claimed to have tested 32,000 migrant workers in the dormitories.

2 days ago, the Singapore government said it is no longer 32,000, they now claim that on 12 May, they have tested 64,000 migrant workers in the dormitories – or twice the previous number.

Today, The Straits Times reported that the government claimed to have tested 82,000 migrant workers as of Tuesday (19 May).

https://www.straitstimes.com/…/448-new-covid-19-cases-in-si…

This would mean that between 12 May and 19 May, 18,000 tests were done over 7 days.

But this would only give an average of 2,571 tests a day.

Didn’t the government claim that there have been testing “more than 3,000″ migrant workers a day?

  • Good to know:

Good to know how many of the FW already tested and the infected rate.
Also how many more testing of the FW to go…
Now the number infected in Singapore is already more than 30,000.

MOH just anyhow hantam a nice big number to report can liao. We all know they aren’t really testing that many since the cases are in the hundreds daily.

All they are doing is testing, no effort has been made to bring the cases down to less than 50 a day.

    Roy Ngerng,

you still don’t know the main reason why PAP govt don’t want to test so many of them, and want them to release them by acting blur ? They simply want to pass the cost and responsibility back to the employers which will then pass the cost to consumers, and they want them to bear the cost of testing for the virus, beside by putting fake heavily discounted figures, they create the impression that things are in control. No wonder they so afraid of whistleblowers who release the actual figures.

Notice how they keep deceiving the public through “consistent” manipulated figures, and many gullible and naive public quoting figures given by government ?

  • REGIME CHANGE is the solution:

The question all Singaporeans should be asking is why is there some many foreign workers (over 330k) in Singapore. It is now clear they are a big public health risk because most of them are forced to live in crowded, filthy dorms. They also depress local wages and their demand push up prices.

It is now clear PAP policy started by LKY of GDP growth through low wages policy failed Singaporeans big-time.

  • u believe PAP u die faster:

there are about 600k fws in various jobs in sg.( could be more?)
will only the ones living in dorms be tested?

  • WakeupSG:

I estimate that the balance to be tested is 200,000 workers & let’s say 5% got infected it works out to 10,000 positive cases bringing the national total to above 40,000 positive cases.

At an av. of 2500tests/day it will take 80 days to complete?

Despite 30K cases,NATION-WIDE TESTING has not been carried out.
Many RICH BUSINESSMEN are surely worried about their WEALTH than PUBLIC HEALTH of common citizens.
See HOW THE RICH N PIWERFOOL$ *ISOLATE* them$elves but probably want the GOVT TO UNLOCK the Circuit Breaker/CONTAINMENT.

Some RICH PEOPLE even want the govt to re-open the economy ASAP as they claim LOW MORTALITY RATE from the YOUNG?
So,just IMPRISON/ISOLATE THOSE OLDER PEOPLE n allow YOUNGER ONES to resume normalcy?

Well,i suggest those RICH PEOPLE *KINDLY CONSIDER* TO LEND THEIR SENTOSA COVE RESIDENCES TO HOUSE OUR OLDER SGS AND OPEN OUT MAINLAND SG FOR RESUMPTION OF NORMAL ACTIVITIES IN ORDER TO REACH HERD IMMUNITY???

WELL,WHAT DO THE RICH AT SENTOSA THINK?

THIS IS A WONDERFUL OPTION FOR THE GOVT N OUR OLDER SGS WONT FEEL LEFT OUT WITH A GREAT HOLIDAY CAMP AT SENTOSA COVE?

  • PAP doomed:

There are around 900,000+ workers with 300,000+ in Dorms and 600,000+ living outside the Dorms.

PAP will still go ahead with election plans after giving out more goodies during National Day.

Singaporeans will be fooled again after receiving goody bags. So cheapo.

  • >3000 tests a day:

They probably take the best 3 days. Cut the time period nicely to show the best results. That’s how they pofma public reports.

  • Now you know whay TRE has stopped trying to breakdown the ‘nicekly massaged’ figures presented by MOH. Thats because their daily tally don’t even match at all.

One day 1+1=2, then on another day, 1+1=0, how to tally like that?

I had created a simple database program to do simple addition to make the editor’s job easier when generating a list for the clusters but on a daily basis, a few of the figures would not tally at all.

    http://www.tremeritus.net/2020/04/26/errrrr-moh-has-insufficient-calculators-too/

Now MOH claims it is doing active testing of the ‘detainees in the concentration camps’ again but daily rate just 400+? Ask any doctor in China whether they believe or not. lol

Now lagi tokong, with less than 10% of the population being tested, the gahmebnt is ready to lift teh semi-lockdown, what were they thinking?

When the rain starts pouring in Sinkieland and the temp starts falling, the 2nd wave will hit strong and hard, just wait and see.

As long as there are still asymptomatic walking around in the community, there will be a second wave, like what China is experiencing now but they have it under control with their determined and no-nonsense approach.
