  • Poor Nicole, as I said, if she had been fielded at Macpherson or at Marine Parade GRC, she probably would have made it into parliament.

And if Hsien Yang had joined East Coast team with Nicole in it, Santa Clause Heng would probably be out of a job after GE.

Anyway, Heng would probably go down in history as the only PM in Singapore with the lowest mandate <55% from citizens, almost beaten by a Young and Talented Nicole Seah and company. Had he not throw the $100b chicken wings, he might have lost. lol

Come to think of it, since Heng is Finance, DPM and PM, can say Liz time PAP did not get overwhelming mandate or not?

SengKang GRC I think WP can take high chance, what is left is Dr Tan’s West Coast liao, hope he will not experience another PE result.

I’ll bet some EC voters immediately wished they’d vote again the moment they watched HSK delivered his victory speech…crap background piano music, stuttered for a moment again. He just cannot be his relaxed, confident self. Welcome your future PM, song bo!

  • WP:

Seem that WP has done well..Congratulation.
Hope it will be more than PAP lite this time…
Be more pro active and help to raise the people problem more vigorously such as HDB zero value at the end of the lease and many Seniors are unable to retire with dignity as many of them are too cash poor for retirement.

  • Harder Truths:

This is definitely the last real election $G will have as a nation.

The majority have opted for Communist Rule and got the government they deserve – again. The numbers do not lie – ballsless will never change.

The leeders will make sure there will never be a next time. The economic depression has already started. $G citizens are doomed.

  • One key HDB issue:

One key issue that was not adequately address by all the parties in this election is the Zero value of HDB at the end of the lease.
It has serious impact on many people and will leave many unable to retire with dignity as most of their CPF was used for the HDB housing.
HDB is too costly now and take too much of their CPF savings…Policy flaw to take 25% years to pay off the mortgage .
One possible solution is to pegged the HDB value at the end of the lease as 40% of their purchase price since the land is returned to the Government.
Need serious consideration on this HDB decay issue.

This is a resonably good result.
Congrats to PAP and WP , not forgetting other opposition parties that made a good fight with imcreaing vote shares.
Its time all parties work for the welfare of all singaporean.Especially the poor retirees, sick, and young looking for a reasonable job…
Singapore will be going through tough times with this covid 19 that will cause a worldwide depression.
Wish singapore the best. MAJULLAH SINGAPORE!

Congratulation and salute to residents of Hougang, Aljunied and Sengkang.

Also like to thank Ang Mo Kio voters for giving a kick at LHL’s ball by reducing the votes count and spoilt the most votes. The spoilt votes indicated they rather throw the votes into longkang than to give it to LHL.

The most stupid voters are those from Bukit Panjang, they have an international renown infection doctor but they prefer a group of idiots fighting the current pandemic. The current pandemic taskforce only depends on hindsight looking for magic solution and hoping to be able to turn the clock back.

Bukit Panjang voters, you people are the most stupid beyond understanding!!

    SO SAD.

NOW I HAVE TO LIVE IN WEST COAST GRC WITH A LESS THAN 52% MPS FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS.

WORST IS WE HAVE TO LISTEN TO A LESS THAN 54% PM IN WAITING. CAN ONLY BLAME THE PM FOR PUTTING HIM THERE TO DEPRIVE HIM OF A STRONG MANDATE.

    WHAT A CLEAR MANDATE.

Elections after elections, still the same.

Alternative Parties should Unite. Kill all egoistic minds.

    UNITY IS STRENGTH!

    Small parties can go. Hopeless!

    Should know what People wants.

Think and Learn from this very Real Mistake. Dont repeat!

    PSP+SDP+PVP = A SOLID POWERHOUSE

The rest are like ‘charparties’. Can be easily eaten and beaten. What a waste…
