I have reproduced in full below paragraphs 59 and 60 of Justice Chan Seng Onn’s judgment in the Parti Liyani case. How did the prosecution even think that it had any chance of securing a conviction which can withstand scrutiny based on such a shockingly inept piece of investigative work?
