Civil Activism in Singapore

I refer to a trending tweet by Kristen Han and her supposed Malay audience who discussed the failed 2014 plan of Filipinos to celebrate their nationality here, which led to a charge of “racism” and “xenophobia” on activist Gilbert Goh.

I therefore, hope that other social media outlets will publish what everyone has to say (when it’s not seditious) so as not to allow a single source to dominate the sphere here

First of all, I think Kristen and her company of Socialist activists like Jolovan Wham, Kokila Annamalai and Terry Xu do not really understand these terms to use them interchangeably when attacking others who do not share in their Marxist woke culture. They furthermore, are totally clueless of the anxieties on the ground, to the extend even fellow Socialist party, The WP distances themselves from their antics of “Transgenderism”, “Pink Dot” activism and “Feminism” etc. What these Left activists are seeking is not equal treatment but preferential treatment.

Ironically, Kristen and gang are echoing the PAP government’s sentiment of those who disagree with their policies of cheap labour and ‘foreign talent’ to supplement the decrease of local Chinese and Indian population, the very same government which they have disavowed as not being democratically socialist enough!

Kristen is also a naive person at best and detriment to society at worst, by demanding the majority who do not agree with her to conform to certain whims and fancies. Fantasies like legalisation of same-sex marriages, ability of the State to forego parents’ wishes to forcibly allow children and teenagers to transit into another gender they were not born into, curtailing, censoring of religious traditions, amongst many other far-Left ideas.

These Left activists are inherently Antisemitic themselves so its double whammy when they call other activist who do not agree with them as “racist”.

What we must reject is not “xenophobia” as claimed by Kristen but the mob-rule mentality they envisage and their hijacking of civil society. They are not the only civil activists/society around and certainly do not represent others such as Leong Sze Hian, Han Hui Hui, Maruah, CAPE Singapore, Lim Tean, Danial Da Costa and Gilbert Goh himself.

The track record of the above mentioned people/organisations are testament to their work on the ground and their understanding of what the Singaporean public really cares about. Equality and justice not just before the law but also the workplaces, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and the preservation of the Singaporean culture and core. We have forged a common destiny from 200 years of experiment as an immigrant nation and are no longer so since 1965 when we were “born”.

This is a concept Kristen can never gapse as the culture of the Left is the opening of all boarders and a one world governing system based on Communist ideals. A government which does not protect the country from cultural extinction and societal decadence in the name of economic interests should be voted out of office immediately.

This is what we should be truly rejecting! Majulah Singapura.

A question to keep in one’s mind … is it genuine activism, with concrete actions taken to improve society, or is a new kind of social event, an “experience” for the participants? Populist movements are never all of a piece. They erupt, branch off, fade into the background.

Of course sane people know that all of the hoopla is just left wing, They are tiny minority of Singaporeans, and if you are familiar with them, you know that many of them are anarchists and deeply disturbed individuals. They will protest or riot over anything but especially made up crises. As it develops the peoples are becoming increasingly aware of the ugliness and dangers that the left represents.

Nothing is coalescing around one main leader or cause. As much as I’d like to see real change in this country, these movements are as yet fairly inchoate and undefined. Manifesting our lowest instincts–prejudice whether racial, religious, class, or sexual orientations, is a poison to our society, no good will come of it.

MATT YAP lives on a FLAT planet. Or if it is round, it is a perfect round.

What the rest of the world saw is this – the world is round BUT NOT EXACTLY ROUND. We have Mount Everest and Marriana Deep.

Students’ activism around the globe forced the end of the Vietnam war. Otherwise many many more innocent lives would be slaughtered like My Lai massacre.

I saw angry even sometimes (sadly) violent protests erupted on the streets in Australian cities in the 1970s. Matt Yap probably wasn’t born then.

Very well said. Hong Kong is one good example. Many of these people are making use of freedom, democracy and human right as a cover/front to advance their own personal hidden e**l agenda.

LGBT is one such group. They are demanding preferential treatment for themselves only and they even go so far as to involve foreign power Americunts. (Some other people like Tan Kin Lian will involve Chinkcunts as if the Chink are good people. stupid idiots.)

A vote for opposition is a vote for legalizing LGBT.
A vote for opposition is a vote for promoting LGBT.
A vote for opposition is a vote to encourage LGBT to brainwash others to be them.

Fake degree Tsai through its media control NCC, shutdown media that criticize her and their police force are also busy investigating netizens who criticize her.

This, my friend, is democracy…..and if you notice, fake 1.5 PhD degree Tsai is copying all our SG policies. So be proud of PAP Singapore.

Spore is LGBT country! YES! I ALWAYS see homosexualism couples in public. Look closer, I realise that the woman had cut her hair short and borrowed her boyfriend’s/husband’s clothes. All because women are too lazy to dress like women.

So many women dress like guys nowadays, so the men thought :”might as well screw other men.”

    Makes sense?
