Stand down of crowdfunding for TR Emeritus

As suggested by some concerned readers, please be informed that we are standing down the crowdfunding for TR Emeritus (TRE) and continuing with the crowdfunding for our techie Andrew’s medical treatment fund.

Concerned readers have opined that some may be confused by the initial crowdfunding excercise as to what or who exactly they are donating towards.

The initial crowdfunding is slated to end 1st September and we intend to keep to that, however, we are revising the targetted amount downwards to S$30,000. Additionally, the owners of TRE have agreed to donate all of TRE’s 2022 advertising revenues up to June, and the current already donated funds towards Andrew’s medical fund.

For the benefit of those who may not be aware of this, Andrew suffered a stroke in the coronavirus pandemic year and was warded in the ICU for about a week, but he managed to pull through. As a result of his stroke, he has been diagnosed with Aneurysm (脑动脉瘤)High Blood Pressure stage 3 and Cerebral Infarction/Cerebral Ischemic Stroke (脑梗死).

The specialist attending to him then had recommended Stents, but due to the risk involved and the lack of funds, he choose to rely solely on medication.

However his condition has deteriorated and the specialist attending to him has strongly advised Andrew to get himself warded to undergo intensive treatment (including stents/tubridge). However, Andrew has been postponing the admission as his family (in China) cannot afford the high cost of such treatment(s).

My sympathies. I offered Techie Andrew a 5,000 year old therapy, a self therapy that has done miracles for many and should be able to give some relief. But he has politely declined.

He knows what is the therapy and he can face Mother Nature or start on it today and see whether it helps.

To [email protected] and all readers ,

It is indeed a very good gesture to hear “Stand down of crowdfunding for TR Emeritus ” and now this crowd funding is solely for Techie Andrew.

Hope more generous contributions to our Techie.

  • Oops, just heard that AGC has been awarded costs in the range of $22400 against the litigants in the judicial review against MTF.

TRE is going to be so very busy now.

Your whole site is peppered with google ads, don’t tell me you aren’t making a princely sum each month from them? :P

Tech: Is US$100+ a month “princely”?

  • Donate your clicks:

Why TRE never ask readers for this?
Google ads doesn’t pay anything UNLESS readers click on the ads.

People, in addition to $ donation, we can also donate our clicks. More clicks on ads mean more $ for TRE.

“Is Google ads pay per click?
Google Ads is Google’s pay-per-click (PPC) advertising solution, which allows businesses to bid on keywords for a chance to show ads in Google search results. When using Google Ads, you only pay when someone clicks on your ad to visit your site or call your business.”

    I speak for myself…

For decades I have remained illness free. Not due to lucky genes but due to perseverence in being broad-minded. Medical attention is needed only when unavoidable e.g. when I am injured or become ill.

But illness is also something that we can have a lot of influence and control over. It starts with being knowledgeable, to make the untiring efforts every day. The rewards are tremendous…free from pain, suffering and even postponing death. Plus saving lots of money.

I do not take good health for granted. I pay attention to ideas of alternative therapies, natural therapies, herbals, etc. I have stopped taking vitamins and all health supplements produced by profit-making enterprises who put out slick advertisements, rope in “experts” etc.

I am well prepared. Decades without cancer, diabetes, cardio-vascular and thousands of diseases. There are 7,000 diseases that involve humans.

It does not mean tomorrow I will not be sick. But it also means, tomorrow is also another day to remind myself..Stay Healthy, make the effort. And if sick, draw upon the vast knowledge of self-help in addition to seeking attention.

  • Thank your lucky star:

It’s good to have a positive attitude, but you are a bit too much.

A person’s good health is due to many factors.

Lucky genes/parents/karma. Many babies are born with lots of illness.

Luck/parent/karma. Many children got into accidents. Remember those school kids who died or got injured during school events.

Luck/karma. When you are on the road, no vehicle jumps across divider to hit you/your car.

Luck/karma. Where you live, no big gas explosion near to you.

Of course, it’s also important that a person takes good care of his health, using urine therapy or other therapies.

Prove me wrong but I think covid vaccine is a state of art vaccine which potentially can target on specific individuals.
