Malicious attempt to smear Tan Kin Lian

Author: There are posts going around showing maliciously angled photo of Mr Tan Kin Lian holding onto a little girl on Normination Day, and was commented and captioned with tons of nasty and disgusting comments.
That little girl is his granddaughter and my daughter.
She was supporting her grandfather on the field and was excited to see him when he came over to the rail for photos. She ran over in excitement calling out ‘Yeh Yeh’. My father, Mr Tan Kin Lian then reached out to hug his grand daughter over the railing. This is a loving moment between a grandfather and his grand daughter but the photo was maliciously angled and captioned.
For those of you haters who took such a loving moment and smeared him, shame on you.
Look at yourself in the mirror and hope one day someone does not judge you for holding your own daughter or grand daughter.

This is the first time that I encounter the behavior of the PAP supporters and I am very surprised and shocked.
The PAP supporters are not only dirty but very kiasu and kiasi. Tan Kin Lian does not have a big group of supporters and to me he is not a big problem for PAP to overcome. By doing this, the PAP supporters are indirectly encouraging more people to vote for Tan Kin Lian.

Had this smearing and malicious attack happened in China, a simple complaint to the socio-media platform or the police would have nabbed the culprit in the butt and he/she would have been invited to have tea (my city here no drink coffee) at the police station and the bare minimum would mean a fine of a few thousand dollars or a few days detention.
I understand in a lot of cases even in Sinkieland, the police can make a police report themselves and then investigate the case, but it appears that the police would only exercise this right when the members of a certain party are involved, not for peasants and non-party members.
This may explain why this 社会人渣 dares to do this, because he/she is ‘well protected’.
