Author: The Israelis appear to be learning very fast from the Americans on how to justify murder.
It is no longer a secret that whenever the Americans want to "take good care" of an organization, it would pin the "terrorist" label on the organization and then under the guise of "national security", it would assassinate the leader or bomb the organization legally.
Applying the same, Israel has bombed refugee camps, hospitals, ambulances, civilian houses and cars claiming without an ounce of proof, that they/there are "Hamas".
In essence, as long as Israel wants to bomb any location in Gaza, just attach the magic word "Hamas" to the intended target and it would be "own time own target".
With absolutely no accountability and no responsibility attached to its action, no proof needed, never mind that hundreds of innocent civilians are killed.
For in Israel's own words, there are no human beings in Gaza, just "animals".

So many of the comments here demonstrate a shocking ignorance. The partition that carved out land from the defeated Ottoman Empire’s occupation for Jewish and Arab (later called Palestinian) states was rejected by the Arab leaders, most of whom had also been installed by the British and French (so as legitimate or illegitimate as Israel and Palestine). They rejected both homelands, not just the Jewish one. Egypt, along with Syria and Jordan ad Iraq girded for war in 1967 openly claiming they would drive Israel into the sea (nothing, btw, about making something called Palestine.) Palestinian nationalism in Jordan led to prison or worse in the “Hashemite Kingdom.” Led by Sadat in 1973, the countries tried again to destroy Israel. Only this huge failure led to general acceptance of a Palestinian state (but not in Jordan, which the occupiers who kicked out the previous occupiers created out of whole cloth from half of Palestine in the 1920s).
Israel has tried to be the first country in the planet’s history to cede land to create an independent Arab Palestinian state, in the mid-90s, in 2000 and in 2005, by pulling settlers out of Gaza. Each time they tried, they were met with increased attacks from those claiming to represent the Palestinians, in Gaza forcing Israel to close the border. People who think the Israeli shift rightward happened in a vacuum are either lazy or they just feel warm and fuzzy assuming the Jewish state is the sole cause of everything bad in the region.
For many who don’t know the history of the region, Israel helped create and fund Hamas some 50 years ago to counter the PLO and Arafat who were even more a threat to Israel’s existence than Hamas is today. Yes, it’s true. Look it up yourself. I’m old enough to remember. Israel played mad scientist and created this Hamas- “Frankenstein”. It seems their crystal ball, and looking into the future was cracked. The continued Palestinian/Israeli conflict is as predictable as sunshine in the middle east. As Israel continues to take more land and water from the Palestinians, some Palestinians will respond anyway they can. Paraphrasing Machiavelli (I think), when the oppressed have nothing and nothing left to lose, there is not going to be peace. The strong don’t settle with the weak, the victors don’t settle with the vanquished, the prosperous don’t settle with the impoverished. Israel has no motive to settle, it has everything it wants.
Palestinians had a golden opportunity to create their own paradise on the Mediterranean when Israel handed Gaza over to them free and clear in 2005. What happened instead? Hamas took control and launched a series of suicidal wars against Israel. THAT is the reason for the Gaza blockade (imposed not only by Israel, but also by Egypt).
Hamas is currently putting more Palestinian civilians (clearly) more at risk than they have over the past few years, and Israel is currently killing and maiming and starving more Palestinian civilians (very clearly) than they have over the past few years.
There’s little appetite for ceasefires or pauses in Israel right now. Even the Left, which up until a few weeks ago was demonstrating weekly against Bibi, is united with the rest of the country in this war. Israelis believe Gaza needs to be rid of Hamas, the sooner the better, so that future attacks are prevented. Hamas themselves have boasted that they are planning repeats of the Oct 7 attacks, so why should Israel let up. Palestinian civilians are the responsibility of the Gazan govt, not the Israeli govt. Israel has to protect it’s own citizens first and foremost.

If in the attempt to clear Hamas, Israel somehow cleared all civilians who were alive in Gaza, that is ok. America will just coin it, collaterals of war. Who is to say, the Iranians might wonder, the U.S. will not have a similar leader in come 2024, if not Trump himself? The Israelis or Arabic states no longer follows the US playbook anymore as seen from Blinken’s latest overtures.
The big reveal that came out into the open over the past four years is that the Saudis, Bahrain and the UAE, among others, realize that Israel is the only country in the Middle East actually feared by the Iranians. So when Trump signaled that he wasn’t interested in being the Saudis’ big brother any more, the rest of the little brothers took notice.
This explains the big rush over the past year to establish relations with Israel: The enemy of my enemy is my friend. The Saudis, Bahrain, the UAE and the rest of them would rather have Israel and the Mossad on their side against Iran. The Palestinians’ cause is not going to keep them from aligning with Israel for that basic reason–they need Israel, especially with the US stepping away.Hate or love any of the players on either side, but terrorism is terrorism. That fact is, any nation that wants to have nuclear weapons will.
Trump’s best friend Kim showed us that. And Bibi’s actions may garner him some political support at home, but it will do nothing but further cement Iran’s nuclear ambitions. As for nuking Gaza; that’s an art of military rhetoric; Bibi could be patting Amichai Eliyahu’s back now. Who knows?

Curious that many are calling for an Israeli ceasefire. There was a ceasefire and Hamas broke it. Not Israel. Let Hamas return the captives and surrender. This is not another peace process who will save lives of civilians in Gaza because all this will start again and again. If it started once more it’s because of the last peace process who allowed the Hamas to rearm. Israel destroying Hamas with the minimum of civilian casualties will be viewed as a godsend by many Arab countries who do not want a fanatical terror organization backed by Iran on their doorsteps. Not unexpected, for both tactical and political reasons … but also reasons of self-preservation; neither Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, nor any other nation-State wants to get mauled by US and IDF planes and/or missiles. Regional states bemoan the suffering within Gaza … and are content with it staying most entirely staying in Gaza. Bolivia, a country in South America, has cut off diplomatic relations with Israel because of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Two more countries in the South America have recalled their ambassadors to Israel for the same reasons.
On the other hand, the Arab countries, the global Muslim countries, besides tongue lashing and some humanitarian aids, have not adopted any other concrete actions to support the Arab inhabitants in Gaza Strip or the West Bank.
No sanctions, no recalls of diplomatic personnel, no cutting off of diplomatic ties, nothing!
Since the six-day war until now, the Arab countries in close proximity to Israel have grown in strength, both militarily and economically. If they unite and go all out against their common enemy Israel, even if Israel is unclear armed and is prepared to use them, chances are the Arab could reclaim their lost ground and get rid of the problem once and for all!

We in Singapore pay for our defence by ourselves. State of Israel was formed in 1948 but unable to be independent of the US. Why? 1. Israel is right to say “this war will not stop unless two things happens – Either All Hamas surrendered or be Killed”. By doing a cease fire before either one of two happened, Hamas will return with violence again. 100% my calculation shows. All Hamas should be and must be wiped clean. Any peace talk or discussion of 2-States solution can only happen after Hamas cleared from earth surface.
2. Israel should not rush through this war. Take own sweet time. Time is to Israel’s advantage. Not to be worry with all those noises asking to cease fire. Take at least 6 months. Now that Gaza becomes north & south, just take time to close up the north sector. Close in the blockage street by street, tunnels by tunnels. The longer Israelis take, the quicker the food, water and essentials run out of supply for Hamas. I think this is call ‘Close the door and beat up the puppy’. Now Hamas already did plenty of war crimes including building command center underneath hospitals, using ambulances to uber weapons and terrorists, hide in refugees camps. Using Gazaians as human shields.
3. 6 months, Israel and US should give Iran 6 months to decide whether to save their brother terrorists by joining the war, while block and starve those Ganad terrorists. If Iran official joins the war to save Hamas, then there is all reasons to clean up Iran.
A. To destroy all nuclear & chems facilities,
B. To destroy all power plants,
C. To destroy all dams,
D. To destroy all military factories.
