Tucker is a Trump supporter and is padding for the return of Trump. He and the hawkish, Jewish John Mearsheimer want the war in Ukraine to end for the US to concentrate on the next war – a full scale war with China.
These guys believe the neocons got it wrong that the previous way of US projection of power is no longer sustainable. The old US power of using raw power disguised as cries of democracy or freedom is no longer feasible.
They want only a world dominated by White, Christians with Anglo-Saxon values. In other words, the annihilation of any emerging race, people, religion or country that is is starkly different from them. China fit all the criteria.

We must remember that the US was born in the extreme violence of the genocide of the indigenous people. Internationally, it’s difficult to think of another country which has fought more wars than the US. Since its inception the US has been involved in a virtually continuous string of wars all the way up to the present. The idea that the US is a peace-loving nation is looked upon with laughter by those not subject to its indoctrination, i.e. the rest of the world.
Can an entire people be stupid? Yes, if they are the Democrat and Republican establishment, the mainstream media and the elites, globalists and open borders idiots who keep pushing foreign policies and narratives that don’t work. And the new, new normal? That Americans are jaded, materialistic, and see themselves as an exceptional people immune to the travails of other nations is true enough.

Good grief. None of it above indicates a model of leadership that is competent to navigate today’s complex world. Always the same story. Human nature is fallible and the road to hell is paved with good intentions. It does not bode well that military and/or radical right candidates are winning elections across the world.

In the meantime, ASEAN can play China off against the US and get benefits for itself from both. It should also be obvious that the US is trying to create conflicts in the region so that it can capitalize on the one area where it has an advantage -its military.
