ICJ to hold hearings on Israel unlawful occupation of Palestinian territories

Public hearings in the advisory proceedings on the legal consequences arising from the policies and practices of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, will commence on Monday (19th Feb) at the International Court of Justice.

This is a separate case from the one brought by South Africa against Israel questioning its compliance with its obligations under the Genocide Convention concerning its current military offensive in Gaza.

The United Nations General Assembly voted in December 2022 to request an advisory opinion from the World Court

One Response to “ICJ to hold hearings on Israel unlawful occupation of Palestinian territories”

  • As long as the warmongering US is defending whatever Israel does and is doing, Netanyahu don’t give a shit about what the world thinks. Israel is untouchable and the ICJ can rule whatever way it wants, Netanyahu will just show the ICJ its middle finger and tell the ICJ and the world to go mate with a spider.

This is the sad reality the world needs to swallow, like it or not.
