ISIS claims responsibility for deadly Moscow attack

Author: Gunmen have attacked a concert hall on the fringes of Moscow, killing at least 40 people and wounding 100 more, Russian security services say.
At least four attackers clad in camouflage gear took part in the attack, in the north-west suburb of Krasnogorsk, BBC-verified video shows.
Crocus City Hall was about to host a rock concert when the gunmen burst into the foyer and then the theatre itself. Much of the building was engulfed by fire and part of the roof collapsed.
ISIS has since claimed to be responsible for the attack on Friday night.
Moscow has since updated the death figure to 60 and still counting.

As of my this posting, 115 have been confirmed dead with hundreds more injured when the theatre collapsed.
A total of 11 people were arrested, of which 4 are directly involved in the terrorist attack. The identities of the 4 are as follows: 1)Nasriddinov Mahadrasul 37 years old. 2) Ismonov Rivojiddin, 51 years old. 3) Sofolzoda Shohijonne 21 years old. 4) Rustam Nazarov 29 years old. They are all from Tajikistan, a land-locked country north of Afghanistan, where ISIS is mostly based. They are registered in Russia in various cities.

Washington’s insistence on a narrative about the Crocus City Hall massacre is odd, since the Russian investigation is still ongoing, President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.
Within hours of Friday’s terrorist attack, which claimed 143 lives at a Moscow concert venue, the US and EU began insisting that Ukraine had absolutely nothing to do with it and that the terrorist group Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K) was the sole culprit.
“It’s strange, to say the least, that the Americans have dared to announce a single narrative,” Peskov told the Russian outlet Izvestiya on Wednesday. “This suggests at the very least that they are trying to shift attention away from something,” he added.
Peskov also noted that these claims came in before Moscow had formulated an official version of events, since Russian law enforcement is still working on the case.
