The proposal to the UNSC by the United States is bewildering!

If the United States is truly keen to stop the war in Gaza, just simply not to provide the munitions Israel needed, the fighting will stop when the last bomb is dropped!

Looking at the details of the proposal, it is only “calling “ for a ceasefire, which means if Netanyahu doesn’t take heed of the calling, he could still go at full strength to level up the southern Gaza. Bear in mind that Netanyahu had told Blinken straight to the latter face that “ with or without the support from the United States, he will order his troops into Rafah “, to eliminate Hamas elements.

While this wayang is on stage, Israel has just unilaterally annexed an 8 kilometre square strip of Gaza land, which is bordering Israel, without any just cause acceptable to the world community.

To make the Hamas feel nervous, the proposal demands Hamas to release all hostages without reciprocal demand for ending the invasion.

What could come out from the mouth of a venomous, double headed snake?

1，人往高處爬，水往低處流，地球處處可為家，每個人都有權利追求自己向往的美好生活，無可厚非。本人當年就是懷著對「民主自由人權」的憧憬，才來到美國的，但是過了近三十年，現如果不經意之間忽然聽到有人說是為了「民主自由人權」要到美國來，總感覺像是聽到只會熟讀八股文的腐酸儒士開口便是「之乎者也」一樣，有哪麼一點苦澀與好笑。

2，本人台菲華混血，十五歲在泉州華僑大學學中文時，恰逢八九六四，本人跟著幾個學長到塗門街公交車站標語支持在天安門絕食的學生，被抓，並驅逐出境，碾轉來到紐約，跟著很多中國學生一起拿到″六四”綠卡，九五年取得美籍。
本人初到美國時，美國國勢如日中天，以民主自由人權為號召，成為人類文明之燈塔；但是現在的美國正以肉眼可見的速度走向衰敗，諸如槍支毒品，國債，治安，校園槍擊，基建，零元購，種族矛盾，警民關係，通貨膨脹，國債危機，近萬億的龐大軍費，LGBT，街頭遊民，醫療體係等一大堆問題幾乎無解，現在還要加上德州對抗聯邦政府的邊境問題，不過很多中國朋友還是認為美國才是自由民主人權的天堂，比中國地區優越千百倍，也幻想到了美國，所有亞裔都能享有跟盎格魯撒克遜人同等的民主自由人權，本人也無從置評。
譬如瞎子摸象，接觸到的方面不同，當然各人感覺就一定不會相同，所以美國是好是壞，請各位自己來體會看看。

3，談點現實情況，
我家有個表親，才十幾歲的姑娘，二零年在紐約搭地鐵時被白人仇恨亞裔者無緣無故推落鐵軌，造成終生殘疾，無處求償，我們現在正為每個月要支付昂貴的醫藥護理費用而發愁。
我父係這邊的祖父七十年代開始在法拉盛開超市，傳給我二叔後，他開始找朋友增資擴大經營規模，現在法拉盛華人人口日益增多，本應生意興隆，沒想到這幾年共經曆了七八次「零元購」，不堪虧損，只好宣告破產。

現在我們家族十來口人，打算全數撤離美國搬回菲律賓，一來能省下大筆醫藥費，好用來照顧那位表親，二來我們家在菲律賓尚有祖產，將來還有東山再起的機會。
一句話，本人在美國已待夠久了，享受夠了美式「民主自由人權」，現在正委托律師辦理棄(美)籍手續，就把這個各位視之彌足珍貴的當美國人的機會留給各位，祝各位好運，加油！！

Expectedly, Russia and China have done well to veto the bull of a shit resolution drafted by the US. The resolution is a farce and if passed, would have allowed the US to call the shots in UNSC as far as Gaza is concerned.

The language used means that the US would have full and final control and say over what happens in Gaza. Conditions were attached to the ceasefire, “do this or else we won’t ceasefire”,meaning the US decides as and when the ceasefire would occur.

Both China and Russia want the ceasefire to be immediate and unconditional, and I agree it should be so.
