为了弥补公积金制度的漏洞，以确保我们的年长者能够维持自己的退休生活，民主党提出以下的建议： 一、把公积金存款全额退还给年长者。退休人士依赖公积金存款维持自己的退休生活。继续扣押他们的公积金不仅是不公平，而且是不道德的做法。 二、让人民有选择最低存款制度的权利。在这个制度下，退休者可以选择是否要加入以分期方式领取公积金存款。 三、支付更高的公积金存款利息。目前，公积金只支付给会员百分之两点五的利率。基于政府投资有限公司所取得的高回报率，公积金局应该上调目前的存款利率。 四、在组屋售价成本计算时，去除土地成本。这将有助于降低预售组屋价格，从而减少公积金会员使用公积金购买组屋。这样一来，公积金会员将会获得更多的退休金。 五、降低保健医疗费。废除保健储蓄计划，并把保健储蓄金（四万三千五百元）转移至各自的公积金户口。增加政府的医疗保健支出,...
