新加坡人民花了将近超过半个世纪的时间埋头苦干，为了我国经济任劳任怨，作出贡献与牺牲。当政府坚持把我们一部分的退休金储存起来时，我们也莫不吭声。 我们对政府把这份退休金储存率增至百分之四十（甚至曾一度达到百分之五十），也未作出任何抗议。新加坡人民也因此变成世界上储蓄率最高的国家。 新加坡人民对于不断地利用自己的公积金缴交住屋贷款，甚至因为价格提升而付出更大代价的痛楚，只能默观其变。 当更多的公积金被用来支付保健储蓄时，我们也仍然保持坚忍。 当政府把自己的血汗钱，花在有利可图但回报率又低的海外投资项目时（通常都有问题的），我们只能用恐惧的眼神默默看着。 现在，政府还要把剩下的公积金加以扣留。 新加坡人民是不是应该继续保持沉默呢？ 新加坡人民是一个长期饱受苦难的民族，因为我们已习惯于接受“福利和社会开支由国家负担是错误”和“公民必须自力更生”的观念。 不，新加坡人民并不是要求施舍，也并没有要求国家养老金。我们只想拿回属于我们的东西。 而公积金是属于我们的，这是我们的血汗钱。想要回这些钱是合理的要求，而新加坡民主党将协助您把它讨回来。 每一分积蓄应该毫不犹豫地被归还。如果不这样做的话，那就是所谓的背叛。 Singapore...
