TR EMERITUS

Dear friends, ladies and gentleman, I want to thank the Yale Council on Southeast Asia Studies and Yale International Relations Association for organising this forum and for so graciously inviting us to participate in it. Many of you here today probably know very little about Singapore, at least not before the Yale-NUS controversy... 

The last six weeks have seen several international forums at which SDP delegates have participated. Young Democrats represented the party at a Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) conference in Bangkok a couple of weeks ago. Dr Chee Soon Juan is currently at New Haven, Connecticut to address a forum at Yale University...
