As for me, I'm just wishing for stuffs in my Xmas stocking. With election around the corner, it's time to survey the political landscape and see the offerings.... 

In the next term of government, PAP intends to raise the GST from the current 7% to 9%. That is bad news to many people and families, especially people who don't earn much and those who have to feed their families. Firstly, I want to put things in their correct and proper perspective: GST rates going up from the current 7%... 

This was supposed to be the year that Singapore came of age and showed the World how we have matured as a Nation and People. It should have been a momentous year because we joined the League of Nations of sufficient antiquity to boast that we are 200 years old. I still remember how proud the Australians were when they celebrated...
