新加坡政府投资公司（Government of Singapore Investment Corp.简称GIC）投资遍布全球30多个国家，管理的资产超过3000亿美元。淡马锡控股公司（Temasek Holdings）截至2012年3月底止，集团投资组合总价值约为1980亿新元。这两家公司同为国家企业，GIC负责管理政府资产却从不公布财务报表、高层管理人员薪资等基本情况；而淡马锡控股作为豁免私人企业，不必像上市公司一样公开每年的财务报表。总之，内幕如铁板一块，始终保持神秘是淡马锡和GIC让外界猜疑、担忧与指责的地方。 相形来说，新加坡人更熟悉的，是新加坡总理李显龙的妻子何晶女士管理之下的淡马锡控股。何晶在2002年被任命为淡马锡控股执行董事兼CEO，直到金融风暴淡马锡亏损数百亿新元之后，曾经一度请辞。 新加坡人所以熟悉淡马锡，并不是因为何晶，而是淡马锡控股公司掌控了几乎所有新加坡最重要、营业额最大的企业。这包括星展银行、新加坡电信、新加坡航空、新加坡港口、海皇航运、新加坡电力、吉宝集团和莱佛士饭店，以及近日甚嚣尘上，闹得沸沸扬扬的新加坡地铁。 作为国家控制的私人企业，淡马锡就像一匹怪兽，主导以私营企业为主的资本市场。几乎主宰了新加坡国内的经济命脉。也就是说，通货膨胀的魔手、物价高涨的推手，背后都有着淡马锡的影子。 作为国营私企，淡马锡的吊诡，就是走进追求利润的怪圈，六亲不认，不管民间企业死活，不管民间疾苦，只晓得在GDP统计数字上做文章。最近的例子，就是旗下...
