TR EMERITUS

On 16.02.2013, I spoke at the “NO TO 6.9 MILLION” protest held at Speakers’ Corner.  The event was a non-partisan demonstration against the Govt’s Population White Paper.  I spoke in my personal capacity as a Singaporean mother who is concerned about the kind of society we are giving to our next generation. 16 Feb was not the best day to hold a rally. It was still in the midst of CNY festivities and people would be too caught up with visiting friends and relatives and having parties and feasting.
