Are we fast becoming a country with 2 set of rules – one for PAP and another for everyone else?

The Education minister Ong Ye Kung says educational institutions must not be "misused for partisan politics"; and he has made a huge song and dance about it in Parliament. But in 2015, the PAP itself made use of a facility which should not be used for partisan politics - a nursing home in Sembawang to hold its press conference...

SBS increasing its fares but not spending more judiciously?

I refer to the news that bus and train fares will go up by 9 cents per trip from 28 Dec 2019. 9 cents per trip more to an individual passenger isn’t a lot of money but when taken together, 9 cents multiply by the millions of bus and train passenger trips each day will translate into hundreds of thousands or even millions...

It has come to my attention that scores of Singaporeans that have entered polytechnics have been receiving inadequate support from the government. Many poly students are facing intense competition from each other due to the large amount of poly intake recently. I heard from a friend that the salary for poly grads are around...
