As everyone know, GE 2011 results: - PAP – 60%, Opp – 40%.  Based on data from the  Institute of Political Studies GE 2011 post election survey, the stats stack up something like this:- Pro-PAP core = 24% Swing voters – 46% (of which 78% voted for PAP) = 36 % Pro-Opp core = 30% Swing voters - 46% (of which 22% voted... 

Dear friends, The PAP and its machinery have been emphasising that the presidential election is not the general election and that the president cannot be the voice for the people. People appear to believe this rhetoric and have become somewhat less passionate about this election since it doesn't concern the bread and the butter.... 

It seems that in 2011 Singapore will be having its most interesting presidential election in history, right after the most exciting general election within the same year. There are now four candidates eyeing the prestigious post, and Singaporeans are spoilt for choice. However, it is easy to choose if people appeal to the concept...
