I made a trip to Hong Kong and Malaysia recently and it is immediately obvious that we are overpriced in many things - a brand new smartphone can cost more than 35% less in Hong Kong while most of the things in Malaysia are at least 30% to 50% cheaper than Singapore. In fact, the very same item in Ikea JB can cost 33% less than...
