TR EMERITUS

Last week (2 Jun), the Straits Times published the result of an ST's own survey showing that most Singaporeans welcome foreigners and that they believe the PAP Government does put Singapore citizens first. ST disclosed that the survey was done on 400 Singapore citizens so as to gauge the "ground sentiments" towards foreigners.... 

While thinking of a word/words to describe the performance of our government over the past few years, I realised that the title of this article is appropriate. I am a Singaporean residing overseas but I follow developments in Singapore through the internet and online forums. It is not hard to see that Singapore now is very different...
