Growing up as an ethnic minority in the UK in the 1990s, I developed a great pride in being part of the “Overseas Chinese” community. I think big pharmaceutical companies with profit as priority will never be able to eradicate Covid and its variants. World leaders need to accept responsibility that a solution cannot be based on profit. A world approach to the disease needs to found. Better to lock down the world than each country taking "calculated" measures...
