(Photo: ST) I refer to the following Straits Times article (13 Apr 2014): “Over 4,000 gift ideas received for babies born next year” Grace Fu's proposal for the public to suggest a gift for babies born next year received over 4,000 responses. Of course, as TRE has mentioned, Grace Fu will let Singaporeans give feedback... 

The late Mr Stephen Lew Referring to www.tremeritus.net/2014/04/15/down-out-sg-dies-after-setting-himself-on-fire/, I deem it necessary to say something. I am not sure by the meaning of this line read “No matter how bad he was, he was still my child…” What ‘bad’ was it that his mother was referring to? Here was a man... 

I know most people are thinking the NMP scheme is just a PAP attempt to curtail the opposition. I agree. However, I feel that there should still be some effort by the alternatives to provide a choice for the people during the upcoming NMP nominations. Why? Because just running for the nomination will raise the person's profile...
