The late Mr Stephen Lew It is very sad. The late Mr Stephen Lew Soon Kiang was only 42. The manner in which he committed suicide, i.e. through dousing himself with petrol and then setting himself alight is terribly painful. Even more poignant is the fact that he leaves behind a two year old daughter he dearly loved as he would...

Review conversion of foreign licences I am currently learning driving from an instructor who has been teaching for more than 40 years. He has raised concerns that most of his students with foreign driving licences, who engage his services for refresher courses, do not even know how to do simple parking or recognise traffic signs...

So hard to consult a polyclinic doctor

Seeing a doctor at a polyclinic can be quite frustrating. In fact, the chances of seeing one after 3pm are slim. A sign at the door may state that afternoon session registration times are from 2pm to 3.45pm, but staff may close the registration counters earlier, to enable doctors to clear the patient load within the consultation...
