US Defence Secretary hosts PM Lee at Pentagon Mr Lee’s visit will provide an opportunity for the two leaders to discuss a deepening bilateral relationship, working together...

Is the Govt really subsidising you that much for outpatient fee?

Just yesterday (1 Apr), I brought my son to polyclinic. After seeing the doctor, collecting the medicine, paying the bills, I noticed some very interesting figures - consultation fee, gross $39, subsidy $33, amt payable $6. This makes me wonder... am I consulting a specialist? Or perhaps the polyclinic inflated the gross price...
