Ever notice how our beloved media reports issues that affect Singapore? Always want to give it a good spin. A few years back when the skies opened up, and Orchard Road faced the first of its flooding issues, the media reported it as ponding. Well, how can it be a flood if there were no homes washed away, or people getting lost... 

I am indeed very infuriated when young people in this day and age still link race and religion as the same thing. I am a native Chinese Muslim and by that I mean, my great-grand father was a Muslim when he migrated here from China and married a local Malay woman. Since then, we have always kept our surname and remained as Chinese...
