Injustices of the Singapore Justice System

I follow with interest, the case and purported allegations surrounding Mr Jolovan Wham and the latest scenario to emerge from the trials [ LINK ] which will open cans of worms in time to come, for all to witness the true nature of the system here. The system is designed to preserve the power of the status quo and changes in other areas can only be achieved when the change comes from the Justice system itself first!

It is a shame that it has landed upon the shoulders of social activists like Jolovan, Sok Lung and Rachel Zeng to be defending civil liberties and fundamental freedoms when we have the “institutionalised” opposition in Parliament for the last 7 years. Day by day, the suicide toll from military and police national service, interrogating methods and inadequate social safeguards continues to rise with none of their sad plight being aired in Parliament by the very MPs they have voted to protect them.

Back to the Jolovan trial, it should come as no surprise that police “practices” such underhand methods which hits below the belt just to secure a “confession”, close the case and obtain their promotions. The same is the situation for officers at the CPF Board, ACRA, LTA, IRAS etc. which compels one to sign your own statements that you are not entitled a copy to. I even know of a case several years back at Geylang East Food Centre where a hawker stall assistant was coerced into withdrawing her claims against the stall owner who is incidentally from the Geylang East Central Merchants Assoc. as she does not have actual “proof” of working there and testimonies of the patrons she served does not hold weight in the absence of an employment contract the stall owner was supposed to give her but did not.

As she is afraid of prosecutorial action against her by the Board, she withdrew her claims after learning the Pro-Bono Services only represents persons accused of selected and preferred offences if I may use the word. Our Law Society is unlike any other in the world, where its role is to be subservient to a PAP government and remain silent on most legislative issues.

The Jolovan trial teething matters could have and should have been resolved at the PTC level but failed to as PTCs here are merely for the accused to either plead guilty or claim trial with threats of harsher punishments and preferential treatment is given to the Prosecutor who has much leeway to dictate proceedings and request trial dates without hearing out the defendant.

After all that have been said in this article and by Jolovan himself, it behooves one to wonder if our Judicial system is really as top and sound as it touts itself to be, where convictions are secured through dirty tactics and an uneven level playing field for people who cannot afford representation by a Counsel?

CCS should be charged with contempt of the court for making degrading remarks in Parliament just before AHTC court case. He uses Parliament immunity to cover his arse. This small boy is getting to be very cunning.

  • Why No Protests in Singapore?:

Now you know why no one dares to protest against CPF ruling, 30% Water Tax, Rises in electricity and gas tariffs outside Parliament House.

Even if one protests alone, he/she will be heavily fined or jailed.

Time to change the ‘rulers’ at the next GE!

  • Singaporeans Afraid To Gamble?:

    You are wrong!

When their CPF is withheld, Water tax is 30%, electricity tariffs and price of gas price increases and when there is a law for Peter and a separate law for Paul and while Ministers are getting $millions and majority have their pay stagnant, you think assume that Singaporeans are still afraid to gamble?

If brother and nephew have to ‘run road’ from Singapore, that speaks of volumes of what can happen to ordinary Singaporeans too!

Better to take a gamble at the next GE then face eventualities (9% GST, more new citizens, less jobs for Singaporeans and many more tax increases and Rule of Law with double standard too)!

Why would vote for regime change is a “gamble”?
Decline and mess could continue only with status quo.
There could only be turning for the better if PAP is removed.

$G locals have no balls – they only know how to complain and hide.
KJ and all the oppo know this now.

There will be very limited oppo next GE – many oppo candidiates have been betrayed by 70% and vilified by pappies last election.

The losers are $G locals – they got what they deserve. No more complaining.

    We reap what we sow.
    We get what we vote.
If we vote unjust ppl,we get injustices done unto us.
70 pct of sgs refuses to vote for truth n justice n the rest suffers injustices.

This can only be righted with a solid oppo alliance that seek for truth n justice for our people.

In truth,MOST OF THEIR POLICIES ARE DOING INJUSTICES TO COMMON SGS WHO JUST WANT TO STAND UP FOR JUSTICE?

  • AHTC Trial Will 'Backfire'!:

When Low Thia Khiang, Sylvia Kim and Pritam Singh take the stand, they will have a chance to share with Singaporeans how the puppies ‘bullied them’ in town council matter’s.

Singaporean voters will be shocked and annoyed at what is shared in court and maybe half the 69.9% will go on to back Opposition at the next GE!

Pappies ask for it and shoot themselves in the leg this time round!

PAPpys HAVE TOLD PEASANTS THESE –

    - we do what we like, never mind what the people think

    - we do what is convenient, never mind what the law says.

but peasants are too stupid to think. If someone walks alone from Paya Lebar MRT station to Geylang to hunt for exotic food, he might be arrest for “illegal assembly” under PAPpys statutory law invented that won’t be found anywhere else in the world, saved of perhaps, Kim Jong Un’s North Korea. PAPpys ARE MADLY in love this chimpanzee and showcased him to the world of fame.

But if two old uncles, marching from Paya Lebar MRT station to Geylang to pack hunt for foreign chicken to practise some muscular exercise (they share the same common motives in the mind thereby proving the factually and legally substantive evidence of colluded assembly) both horny uncles WON’T BE MOLESTED by PAPpys statutory law.

It is clear that in LEE-jiapore, dictatorship is LAWLESSNESS RULES THE LAW and its application. Adolf Hitler must be proud of them because Hitler made it “legal” of race genocide in his time and those who refused complicity were cheerfully executed for “treason” in a land WHERE HITLER IS THE ONLY “LAW”.

Hitler land got rule of law too – EXCEPT THAT IS IS NWOD EDISPU.

    what system?

its heavily politicised. judges are appointed for 2 years – you better behave cos you know who butter your bread.

judge pillai who refused to fine the poor indian cleaner who sued for by-election in hougang after wp mp resigned due to his infidelities, was removed.

sgs? they bochap, only think for themselves and oppo? too fractious to convince a fearful electorate to vote them.

where in the world got judge callded the plaintiff, ‘sir, sir’?

    Justice ?
    Injustice ?

Like China , FBB ( 金鎖 ) tax evasion case ( huge amount ) also no need to go serve any jail sentence.

Some PRC air stewardess evade peanuts import tax on some overseas luxury tax, tio jailed.

Just a theory , a shot in the dark … Looking at past history of Bo Xi Lai, Zhou yong kang, many will think … Presumably she muz have ” work her hard ” to satisfy the ” 眾工 ” perverts to get herself out of this hot soup. Guess the sacrifices are worth it. She get to keep her wealth, maintain super stardom,… Lie low a couple of years and back again.

  • New AG/AGO??:

ST reported KPMG missed out the acceptance of MND when musical chair chairman $8 nfi minister on the tender waiver in AHTC legal struggle with PAP nepotic cum plps govt. Is this a real negligence of a pap govt appointed auditing firm to thoroughly look over AHTC finance leaving no powder dust unscrtinized? Yet an approved waiver became the basis of the legal process, how come? The angry words of self exiled LHL n LWL once again ring loud n clear as they weren’t challenged legally in open court as decreed together by the three PMs at the point of declaration but since then the PGPM has succumbed to the ultimate fate of all men sadly pitched against by Emperor Ching Tzewan, Ming Emperor Jiajin n the trillions $ spent on stem cell research in recent years globally incl SIN to reverse this human process which is good but surprising only desperately wanted by historic undesirables.
Some knowledgable intellects Singaporeans raised query pertaining to Conflict of interest in the appt of AG/AGC which essentially means liklihood of bias, compliance or collectively a plp but a very brilliant or supposed to be high profile pap woman retorted that career success annuls conflict of interest just like saying a wealthy man will not steal, is this possible? Why many successful men including PAP minister have been found corrupted? SIN minister comitted suicide.
Is AGO looking for a new man? Look like boss of KPMG a logical choice n best choice by the brilliant pap woman. What do u think?
