  • What the fiak economy?:

In the real profit-making capitalist world there would be bona fide competition between service providers to vie for our utility dollars. But in this monopolistic crony-economy there is only unscrupulous profiteering of the sheeple for slaughter.

  • PAP proved itself beyond 2/2:

so as to start the game ,Operation cleanup of the rat holes. Many senior professionals r waiting to really serve the nation as patriots n not to brownose to chal up points for rewards. Remember what lhy n lwl said about cheat, compliancy n dynasty agenda presumably a repeat of the Tang-Zhou dynasty bearing ironically the same clans. Yes TKL, if u do that within your profession, you will be doing teally a national service contribution n not blabbling on like a spurn plp not much better than mute n gutless kokokke woody peanut not even dare to gabble being spurned. Best be rest sssured, do the medilife reprt, your chance of another trial at presidency but would not be multimillions but in mere hundreds of thousand. good luck with your preparation of the report n be ready for enlightening your fellow singaporeans before next election!

Essential services should not be talking of making a lot of profit, let alone supernormal profit as in now. Enough profit to run the operation smoothly and for maintenance and replacement costs. Now it’s like daylight robberies

of course can when “4″ can be “5″ and “selected” can be “elected”.

white idiots do not need logic (more taxing to the brain) just enough daft sinkies to keep on holding the white idiots in awe even in the presence of white idiotic half-past-six wayang explanation.

  • Rabble-rouser:

    Looks like “Harvesting” to me!
The real world is pouring huge investments into renewable energy technologies like solar panel farms, offshore wind mills & into advanced large scale battery farms storing excess electricity for peak usage. And that is the future for sustainability! Fossil fuels are becoming passe as the world weans off depleting fossil fuels!
S’pore’s high land cost & busy sea channels are a huge deterrent to adopting renewable energy technologies. In addition, the high land intensity pressures (high rise, people congestion) have created a high energy consumption base. 10 million population target is not only suicidal but also genocidal because S’pore will be shooting way past the point of sustainability – a point of no return! Even water purification has become a huge problem when the population exceeds reasonable bounds.
S’pore is located within a tropical zone where rainfall is plentiful & consistent throughout the year. Yet S’pore is forced to use desalination plants which are also energy intensive & costly. Most desalination plants are located in Arid regions where rainfall & water resources are scarce. Yet, S’pore uses desalination plants in a tropical setting where rainfalls are adequate. A far cheaper, low cost alternative would be rainfall harvesting infrastructural network of underground drains & water channels leading to artificial water bodies like lakes & reservoirs. But S’pore’s lands are simply too expensive, the landscape too much high rise while the MRT network infiltrate too much into our underground geology. It creates mutually exclusive outcomes where money & revenues considerations far outweigh the future sustainability of S’pore. No wonder, they are harvesting the “profits” before the s**t hits the ceiling fan.
S’poreans are really blind to these warnings because they have been subjected to feel-good propaganda messages transmitted via the govt-controlled Media, indoctrinated to believe in the powers & almighty capabilities of the PAP. Are you sure?

  • More Pain Needed:

    The profiteering wasn’t done overnight.
All these while, for the last two decades, the standard of living trajectory of the country is only downwards, from developed to third world.

Sinkies obviously did not learn anything or think it’s not a problem to be milked profusely.

    Sinkies got what they voted.

  • better safety culture:

//The real world is pouring huge investments into renewable energy technologies like solar panel farms, offshore wind mills & into advanced large scale battery farms storing excess electricity for peak usage.//

hard for sinkie land to replicate renewables. no great and strong river (only famous kallang river), so no hydro. no consistent windy environment or sunlight, so out for windmill and solar panel ??

of course, we have small amount of renewables (solar panels), but it is more for little side show and marketing to the naive that we are making effort moving there too. and the whole installation and maintenance may even cost more (no economic scale) than the existing electricity we are using ??

//10 million population target is not only suicidal but also genocidal because S’pore will be shooting way past the point of sustainability – a point of no return! Even water purification has become a huge problem when the population exceeds reasonable bounds.//

have you noticed that occasionally, the sound of nuclear energy and how safe it is because of current technology has been has been put forward (test balloon).

imagine, some countries with far better safety culture in europe are trying to phase out nuclear energy OR going ZILTZ while sinkie land is suggesting it NOW when more and more tan-chiak tan-chiak chat-ba-lang people (where does 6.9m or 10m have to come from if TFR is below 1.5) with all the chat-ba-lang culture working / running businesses or perhaps institutions (many of them very good in showing and telling stories as compared to daft sinkies).
