  • hear ye hear ye:

a result of total open leg policies..or else wouldnt be this bad.
even foreign newspapers are reporting on this catastrophe.
not so much that we’re the most infected SEAsian country , but the “neglect” of the country’s migrant workers.
is LHL going to POFMA or sue them for “false” reporting?
of couse POFMA dont work on foreigners.. only know how to bully own citizens.
what a FAIL of a gov we’ve got!

The number of daily case appears to stabilized at about 750 over the last 3 days. This was preceded by days of exceceptionally large fluctuation in case number.

The pattern of daily fluctuation is statistically strange.

  • FW issues:

Need to review the FW issues…
The basic problem could be in the tender process…the project should be awarded at much higher value than now.The true costs.
The true costs of the FW should have been higher considering all the costs involved to employ them…their pay, accommodation and levy.
When the actual cost is not taken into consideration what can change for the Contractor ?
Either the FW pay or the accommodation …not the levy.
Frankly how to improve the FW pay and accomodation if the Project value do not goes up ?Same with the quality of the food serve to the FW…all are related.
What to expect when a meal for them is supposed to cost less than $2 in expensive Singapore ?
Need to be realistic..time to review and Singapore need to do the right thing.
The manpower issue is not going away unless we have the resolve to solve it the hard way….our costs will go up.
The industry need to upgrade/automate and reduce the dependency on FW.Attract more locals with higher pay.
