Author: Pure nonsense that police don’t name individuals who are under investigations. They even issue press releases to tell the whole world while the interviewees were still in the dark till reporters call them and they receive invitation letters subsequently.
I think even CNA announce their names at prime time News.

if its some ordinary man on the street > will they reveal his name and identity? If yes, hows the man the street and his rights to due process is affected as compared to some high position person or elite?

In previous times, the msm would somehow provide a scoop of this sort of news and leak their names in the papers.?
Msm reporters used to wait around courts and other agencies for fresh news everyday.

It cannot be by rajah as IR works at the PMO’s office and is a “Yes,” person.So she is acting under instructions as all under the PM do. It does not matter whether it makes sense or it is selective.Why were LHY and LSF named and not the six KOM executives? Even their son was named. Well u know how the shyt times work. Send their minions to investigate get names ect for paparazzi news. Then in the office there will be this miw sitting in cushy chair wearing white ( the colour of his master) who will decide which news to get out and which doesn’t. Any reporter slave under him will have to report to him and by chance if the reporter slave manage to get some sensitive news he will be punished and reprimanded.

I think Ms Teo is barking up the wrong tree AGAIN and wasting her own sweet time seeking answers to a stupid question.
The charming lady in the PMO will simply say the CPIB is NOT the same as the Police, period.
It is a FACT that the charming lady specifically said “CPIB” in Parliament, no?
BTW, why is Teo so eager to side and defend Yang and his family? Where was Yang when the activists were being supposedly persecuted, harassed and sued? Where was Yang when the activists were being jailed?
Mind you, Yang is a very loaded and resourceful man. He probably has the president of US on speed dial, among many many people in high places. Do you honestly believe that he even needs help from anyone of us, PEASANTS?
Besides, if Yang had really wanted an avenue to cry father cry mother, there is always TOC that he is rumored to be sponsoring BTS. I am sure they would be very keen to help Yang sensationalise his ‘predicament’.
Yang claims on Facebook that he has finally woken up and realised his way of sitting on the fence in the past was wrong, has he? I certanly did not see any change or action on his part to suggest that (he has woken up). He will have to try harder if he really means what he said.
Anyway, be that as it may, Yang is finished, kaput and history as far as politics is concerned. He can remain in Europe and enjoy life with his billions, why bother with peasant Sinkies whom he has never ever bothered to bother?

Is there a charming lady in the PMO’s office? I can only see those who have lost their souls and themselves to Mohammed Gaddafi in office.So how can anyone there be charming? Is TSL defending LHY or is she writing about the fact that it is ridiculous that those who are investigated by CPIB are protected from their names being revealed? This is a practice that is not cast in stone but selectively.It therefore is an unfair practice.Where LHY is concerned,he needed a “falling from grace ” experience to realize that life for most Singaporeans is not rosy as what he may have believed. You are right to say that he is a wealthy man and can live in
Europe or elsewhere but the choice he has made to speak about his experiences and his persecution speaks volumes of his integrity. Why would you want him to act any differently or keep his mouth shut? The more he speaks,the more of the PAP’s “evils” are known.
Tech: You are not without reason, I would not disagree with your take even though I still have some reservations about Yang. Only time will tell, I supposed.

Yes, you are right the PAP is always right. We say HDB is unaffordable.They say it is a myth.We say foreigners with same job skills should not be allowed to work in Singapore.They say go for retraining and reskilling.The end result is citizens have to take a lower paying job and be grab drivers to make ends meet.We say don’t put two strangers in a one room rental flat.They ignore and two brutal murders have occurred.Now they want to put 12 people with common sharing facilities and only one toilet . Where is the lesson learnt from the dormitories during the pandemic? What is glaringly wrong,the PAP will right it by using ST which is funded by taxpayers.

Why 40% and not 55%? If we want to take back the power from the PAP we have to have 55% to get a new govt. The abuse of power is out of control.We have to ensure that judges are voted in by the Public.The Elections Department is moved out of the PMO’s office. My personal opinion is that some of the MPs and Ministers in the parliament do not agree with out National policies. But they have to keep quiet, or else get sacked. Where else can they get over a million dollar salaries in Singapore ?
It is very wise of the authority to offer them such salaries.
These salaries come from the taxpayers.
