Hezbollah claimed to have fired a "large volley of rockets" at an Israeli surveillance base. The group said it targeted Meron base with a "salvo of rockets from several bases". Israeli media outlets noted that over 100 projectiles were fired from Lebanon in less than 24 hours. Shortly afterwards, Israeli strikes were reported in several towns across Southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah has escalated its attack on Israel after the IDF began targeting towns deep into Lebanon, killing civilians.
