Why does Singapore pays its nurses so poorly that most young people do not want to take up the profession? Why unlike elsewhere, are those in the nursing profession not rewarded as professionals are, financially and socially? Both my grandparents admitted to NUH in their 80s and 90s suffered terribly at the hands of non-locals...
