Dear fellow Singaporeans, I would like to make a small comment on Budget 2011 as certain groups of people are being ignored in the overall scheme of things and neither the mainstream media nor opposition parties have voiced anything about it. This is the issue of self-employed people who are not being significantly assisted... 

The headlines scream "$6.6 billion bonanza" for households in the various forms of cash handouts, tax rebates and top-ups to help them battle the tsunami of rising costs waiting round the corner. What they don't put on the front pages is that Minister Teo Chee Hean is getting 5.4% extra for his Defence budget, a $620 million... 

Gilbert Goh I have been called names like “Silly fool” to “Out of your mind” when I told them that I will be back in Singapore for at least the whole of this year.
