It looks like another 50 years have gone past Singapore. Flash floods hit the various parts of Singapore again today in late afternoon. This includes the prime tourist area - Orchard Road. In Orchard Road, with the heavy downpour, the flood barricades at Liat Tower were activated but it wasn't enough to prevent the flooding... 

Mr Seng Han Thong has finally apologized for making a racist remark on CNA's BlogTV talk show. Mr Seng was invited to the talk show as a guest to provide his views as the deputy chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Transport. In the show, he mentioned that another problem faced during the breakdowns of SMRT... 

Earlier this December, Tampines Residents staying in 4 storey flats were denied lift upgradings because the construction costs exceeded PAP's budget, so said PAP Tampines MP Baey Yam Keng.
