According to a media report today (14 Dec), the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) reckons that outstanding credit card loans will exceed $10 billion for the first time in Singapore by Christmas this year. Overall, unpaid balances were at $9.98 billion in October. This is 70% more than the $5.8 billion for the same period... 

Some 2,000 Pasir Ris residents came together to "sing for Singapore" yesterday (13 Dec) at a community event attended by DPM Teo Chee Hean and MP for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC Zainal Sapar. Led by around 500 youth, the 2,000 residents sang some 25 songs in a 2-hour session. DPM Teo, MP Zainal and local celebrity singers joined in...
