I think this newly-minted Health Minister Ong Yi Kung is talking nonsense. First of all an aging population does not have a buffet syndrome for medicine. Who in his right mind whether elderly or not would want to go around trying different types of medication. Remember that medication is bitter and has many side effects unlike... 

If these doctors and experts were to talk like that in SG, they will be quickly thumbed down, labelled as "quacks", "insane", "people with hidden agenda" “fake science" etc and there will lots of PAP IBs and supporters calling for blood, asking SMC to punish them by suspending their license to practice medicine... Or even... 

In this surreal environment, the only data we should trust is the raw data itself, ie, data of individual cases. Collated data like graphs, percentages, or snippets like “20 out of 23 are unvaccinated” should be taken skeptically because they can be manipulated to present only one side of a story to support an agenda.
