I refer to Tuesday's (27 October) Straits Times article "More cars, so public transport trips down". I find it puzzling that the local public transport community cannot comprehend the reasons behind this seemingly ridiculous trend in our "dense but well-orchestrated" public transport system. Let me summarise the available reasons...
