Suckers who will hinder Singapore from realising a new political dawn

I had about half an hour of conversation with a young senior taxi driver early this morning and I complimented him for being hard working.
After I have reached my destination, I said to myself that this is the typical representation of suckers who will hinder Singapore from realising a new political dawn.
I asked him among other things and he told me that he has been driving taxi for <1 year and before that, he worked as a senior supervisor in some logistic company for about 25 years and was subsequently retrenched.
I asked if his children are grown up, if he was fairly compensated and did he approach his union or MOM for help etc. His silence and his expression revealed much.
I went on to comment that today's pap government is a far cry from the very outstanding, much loved, much respected and remembered old guard pap ministers. I am old enough to know and healthy enough to remember.
To me, today we have a mediocre, greedy and often incompetent pap political leadership. The giving of CDC vouchers will earn appreciation, votes and praises initially from our citizens but over time, such a practice must breed a soft, expecting to get something for nothing mentality and even a demanding people.
So many of our young people are decently educated but so sadly, so many of them are unable to find decently paid jobs that the government has failed to create and ended up driving private hire vehicles with absolutely no employment protection or future whatsoever. I spoke to him about employment, unemployment and underemployment matters but I am unsure if he understood underemployment enough
.
I further said that it is seriously time to vote in more opposition MPs and the fear of the pap being replaced is overblown. I believe that I say it on behalf of many fellow citizens that people seriously yearn for more opposition voices in Parliament but they do not want to see the pap go. At least not yet. Thinking citizens just want to see this sub-standard pap leadership weaken to drive home their message.
He argued that what if we vote in people worse than the current pap lot? I used a crude example that came to my mind to drive my point and I asked him what if his daughter has been abused, assaulted and kicked by her husband?
Will he encourage her to leave him or will he not do that simply because he is afraid that after leaving her abusive and violent husband, his daughter might not be able to find a better man to remarry? He just kept quiet. I do not expect much courage or intellect from suckers.

In the past,1G REQUIRED FTs(they were merely called expatriats) to TRAIN(TRANSFER KNOWHOW) to sg uncles like me who were fresh from the varsities and polys.
These days,most of the FTs need to gain KNOWHOW FROM THE sgs THEY WILL BE REPLACING.

Sadly, the taxi driver represents the blur sinkies who give up their future and are now pawning their children’s future. All because they are too complacent, dense and lazy to pay attention to what is happening. The daft sinkies need to wake up to what is happening around them politically, economically as well as socially.
For example, SG had agreed to participate with MY in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ). Maybe the sinkies should ask the hongkies what happened to Hong Kong after Shenzhen special economic zone was set up. The HK manufacturing sector was sucked hollow. It was a win-lose deal that HK manufacturing never recovered from.

Johor had already managed to attract many factories/data centers/logistics to relocate out of Singapore. With JS-SEZ and its Special Financial Zone, it aims to suck not only the manufacturing sector but the financial sector as well. As usual, our govt is collaborating with this effort at the expense of the people. Meanwhile, the people are sleeping as their future are again being pawned.

Just like a cocktail, without trying to mix and match, you won’t be able to create a better drink. Recall how Singapore Sling was invented and became national cocktail in Raffles Hotel.

Why does Singapore exists? And more fundamentally, who does it exists for? Male Singaporeans spend many years in National Service and reservists to protect the assets of PAPigs and the rich foreigners in this island. The hard truth is you are protecting PAPigs multi millionaire lifestyles, boats and bungalows on Sentosa island.
Singaporeans are very significantly short-changed but the Chinese mindset is not one that promotes fairness and fair play. What’s the point of serving NS and reservists to protect the Malaysians’ HDB flats here where a single Singaporean male cannot buy a HDB but has to go reservist and protect the HDB flat of a Chinese Malaysian couple who are given PRs to buy a resale flat? Singaporeans are increasingly blind-sided by PAPigs.
Jobs for foreigners and PRs. That male Malaysian on PR here can own a HDB but does not need to serve reservist. And no NS. But the Singaporean guy has to return for reservist to protect that Chinese PR Malaysian’s HDB flat. Yet the soldier cannot own one until after 35. This is discrimination. Singaporeans are daft to marginalise and discriminate their own citizens like that.
