This NYT article of 23 Nov 2020 is so refreshing. The title mocks the Singapore government causing the ambassador to respond in the usual unintelligent manner. It claims that its ridiculous laws are meant to protect the people rather than the government. Why does not our ambassador admit that his duty is to protect the government... 

Our current approach is to use safe entry, trace together and temperature taking for visits to all retail outlets and entry at workplaces.
