Houthis fumes after US and UK attacked more than a dozen Houthi military sites in Yemen

The US and UK's air strikes on Yemen have left the Houthis fuming. The Iran-backed rebels have vowed retaliation and warned both NATO Nations to prepare to pay a heavy price.

Saudi Arabia urged against further escalation and called for self-restraint. Russia, on the other hand, called for an emergency UNSC meeting over the attacks. A former U.S. official has called Joe Biden's move a 'bad mistake.'

American and British Navies attacked more than a dozen Houthis military sites in Yemen early morning with fighter jets and submarine-launched Tomahawk missiles. They called it retaliatory strikes following 27 Houthis attacks in the Red Sea on commercial ships

While the genocide of the Palestinians are still going on, instead of stopping it, the Americans and Brits are launching big scale attacks on the Houthis in Yemen. What is next, carpet bombing of Yemen like in Iraq?

The Americans and the Brits have no hesitation to slaughter the Houthis, just like the Palestinians in Gaza. No need to talk, no need Congress or Parliament to approve. Just do it. No fear of the war spreading.

What are the Arab and Muslim states going to do about it? Nothing, at best some words, yes, words of protest. And the slaughter will go on and on. Turkiye, Iran and Saudi Arabia, all wanting to be the leader of the Arab and Muslim world, would just look on the sideline, to watch how the Americans, Brits and Jews continue with the slaughtering of their Arab and Muslim brothers and sisters.

As long as the Arab and Muslim states are divided, the Americans, Brits and Jews have nothing to fear. A divided Arab and Muslim world would be impotent, and one by one, the Arab and Muslim states would be attacked and destroyed. No one will be able to help the Arab and Muslim states if they are divided and unwilling to unite to defend their Arab and Muslim states. Soon it would be back to the usual, each Arab and Muslim state on its own, some even kissing the asses of the Americans, Brits and the Jews. Iraq, Syria, Libya, and now Yemen and others would be bombed and invaded and destroyed, and their people becoming refugees. Gaza would be no more.

This is the likely scenario. The brave fighters in Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis would be taken out and terminated, if Turkiye, Iran and Saudi Arabia still refuse to act together as a united Arab and Muslim brotherhood to fight on their sides.

The Houthis (or Yemenis) have been fighting the US and Saudis for years. They were almost wiped out once. But they came back stronger and took allthe US threw at them. They know how to handle this. They also know how to cause maximum damage to the USA – this time there will be no Saudi or UAE to support the US/UK barbarians.

  • SINGAROAR:

The Houthis would have expected this so they will endure the bombing. Next Hezbollah will join in and the war will escalate instead of just stopping the genocide of Gaza. 911 proved that the war can enter the US. Do Americans want a repeat of the Twin Towers? Americans and the British should protest their respective govts. interference in the Middle East on behalf of the Zionists or is it the Zionists in both countries that are in power and both Biden and Sunak are doggies of the Zionists? Both have opened their countries to attacks and unfortunately for us, Singapore has done the same despite our Muslim neighbours.

On what ground did Singapore support the American led alliance against the Houthis? On ground of principle?

    Did Singapore do it voluntarily?

US says they have the support of the international community to punish the Houthis.

Singapore is safely justified to be part of the international action.

US ships and planes can easily block all food supply to Houthis.

Foreigners coming here are told to leave their foreign troubles out of Singapore. HKies cannot protest in Singapore. etc.

However. The biggest culprit is the gov itself. It is always getting into foreign troubles. Attacked Iraq. Sanction Russia. Attack Yemen. It is punching above its weight. Punching into global trouble.

$inkeland has a few motorised sampans to catch fish for US/UK masters. This is hy $inkeland is not a part of the Global South, led by BRICS. When (not if) the US falls – which is already happening – $inkeland will also go down with it. The Global South will not forget $inkie patriotism to US/UK masters. $inkieland will never abandon its US/UK masters.

All these countries joining the US and UK are not afraid of retaliation? 911 already showed that no country is safe when it joins in warfare. So,we being tiny, tiny should not be joining in wars and should be neutral like Switzerland.

Tech: Sadly, the Muslim and Arab people are not united. If these cells were united, there would have been numerous 911 by now. Unfortunately, these cells all have their own agenda, front door no fire, not my problem.

  • Dalai Says "Read My Lips":

Despite the widespread skepticism towards US interventions in the Middle East(following the failure to find WMDs in Iraq), I believe the US-led action against the Houthis is needed. The Houthis recently took over a region of a sovereign nation (Yemen) by force, supported by Iran. The government of Yemen is unable to force them out. Now they are engaging in terrorist attacks on ships. Except it’s not open international seas there. Two-thirds of the width of the strait is Yemeni territorial water, and the other side belongs to Djibouti.

The picture of the Houthis with their sandals and antique rifles could have been straight out of an Afghanistan file – US didn’t win there. The US lost 2 Navy SEALS in the sea trying to intercept Houthi bound weapons so they’re already losing men. I am not sure that “proportional” works. I think a stronger response is in order, enough to put an end to the Houthis attack. The Saudis have been trying unsuccessfully for a decade to deal with them, and have barely managed any success. With only Saudi Arabia clinging to neutrality because they don’t want anything to do with the Houthis after failing to defeat them in the bloody war in Yemen. You know that the only way to decisively defeat Houthis is to engage in a heavy bombing campaign followed by a ground invasion and an infantry-led, door to door eradication of entrenched militants in Sanaa, right?

Also, at this point while the US military power is far superior to Iran, and can (if desired) to put an end to their aggression by proxies. War is terrible but the situation will be a lot less favorable if in that context the global countries wait too long, allowing them to develop an Atom bomb.

All these “measured responses” to challenges in the Red Sea and elsewhere make us look weak and raise questions about our credibility. Especially against a growing number of bad actors that refuse to play by the rules. Singapore, has the highest trade-to-GDP ratio in the world. It produces almost nothing and imports almost everything. The dynamics of any conflict are defined by the party with the lowest moral character. In that context our role in assisting the coalition against the Houthis is still to play to win. Decisively. Despite having larger Muslim-majority neighbors such as Indonesia and Malaysia. Anything less just emboldens those that seek to disrupt stability, justice and peace.

  • If Iran is serious about wanting the Houthis to do their bidding, maybe it is time to arm the group with serious air defenses. It need not be 100% full-proof, but at least capable of downing a Us/UK jet or two.

Both the US and UK dare not set boots on the ground as they will be mauled by the hundreds of thousands of Yemenis that hate them, so once Yemen is properly defended against air attacks, the US and UK would be hopeless as they cannot afford to lose jets per strike mission.

The US claims that they do not want war with Yemen, but so far, they have attacked Yemen not 1 or 2 times, but 5 and maybe even more.

If this is not an act of invasion and aggression, then I don’t know what is.
